I'm pretty sure it was Alty that let Milner off a barn door second yellow, amongst othersI've thought and posted the same for years. It's uncanny how often one of them mention something and then coincidentally it's often used as the rationale for a decision.
Two that really spring to mind are 1) Shearer in last years cup final - Henderson that's not a red and 2) perfectly good Phil goal chalked off at Dippers 2023 for a supposed shirt pull by Erl on a Dipper about a minute before- apparently 'interferening' with play. Forgot who the ref was but Neville mentions the shirt pull and what a surprise goal chalked off. This may have been same game when Milner was fouling like fcek, getting away with all sorts and ref let it g0 z was probably Oliver or Alty can't quite recall.
So yes, I'm convinced commentary pundits influence Stockley Park decisions.
