Spurs (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Are well don't have to worry about the league now the way things are going the rags will be above us, some of these lazy arseholes need fucking off I can think of 5-7 without counting Lewis at least he'll run for the badge
Hahahahahaha we are finished as a top club

If we do our job, we dont throw away a 2-0 lead, 2nd half we created nothing, we were awful, I dont know what's going on but after new year we have looked dreadful
Honestly, I don't think that we are playing any worse than we were during our winning run.

We were winging it every match then - think of Leeds and Fulham - and were lucky to secure the absolute maximum points, considering the way that we were playing. At the back, especially.

This run of the past few results was always coming.

It's amazing that we are still where we are in the league, but today's match was an accurate summary of where we are, this season.

I'd love to know what we actually do in training - and what others do?

Super first half but again we totally run out of steam second half so a good point against a team we really struggle against. Would have taken a point before the game but to have such an amazing advantage then throw it away is so frustrating.
Hardly a “super” first half

Utter pish 2nd half, 2 up against a shit Spurs team...WTF goes on at HT?
Made me laugh though, the usual Billy Biggest Blues on the MDT at HT....funny how they all vanish 2nd half when it gets to 2-2.
Every single match, every 2nd half.
I think we are now top of the points thrown away when ahead league.
Spurs were absolute dogshit and we chuck away a 2 goal lead.
They didn't deserve the grief they were getting at HT. they do at FT.
It's not being the biggest blue, it's just not being a **** and slagging everyone off when 0-2 up away at Spurs.
Knock yourself out though, it's usually the same posters every week and you're usually in there.

Can't even beat a bottom half team in the league with 13 injuries, with their own fans even wanting them to lose, despite being 2 goals up. Says everything about this teams mentality. Its non existent and everytime something goes against them they fold.

Nail on head! Can’t say the club have t invested in the last 12 months so surely it falls on the manager? Maybe even the new players can’t handle Pep and his possibly over the top management style?

No, you’d get red carded. What you wouldn’t get is a penalty or a foul to the other team and the corner not awarded though.

That’s always been the case, it’s in the laws.
What about if all the attacking players threw the defensive players to the ground just before the ball is kicked resulting in a free header for one of them? Does the same rule apply as to the one applied to Haaland getting thrown to the floor?

I’m staggered that 99% of our fans are not pointing the finger at that foul for the first goal. As blatant a foul as there is. It changed the whole game. When you continuously get every single decision going against you, it must drain you. It has a massive effect

Thank god spurs were riddled with injuries and had no self belief first half.

Donna - some good saves 8/10
Nunes - good again shame he's the fullback that has to stay deeper 7/10
Alt nouri - needs games 5/10
Guehi and khus - solid 8/10
Rodri - still not what he was, lucky not to be sent off 6/10
OReilly - good first half 6/10
Silva - motm by a distance 9/10
Cherki - looked dangerous 7/10
Semenyo - poor but scored 5/10
Haaland - crap again 3/10

Subs Nico G - played like when he first joined ie not good 5/10
Rudy - presume the black eye was from the girl guides 3/10
Foden - not enough time to rate
Marmoush - definitely dropped a floater in Peps private toilet, no other explanation.

Pep - see Marmoush and failure to get them motivated for 90 mins, so good but so tired blah blah 4/10

Ref - coward 3/10
Var - cowards 3/10
Neville - useless and a coward 1/10

Oh and haaland has clocked off for the season as he doesn't want to get injured for the world cup imho.

What the fuck has happened to him?

He's either injured or had his had turned or had a huge row behind the scenes. Or he is absolutely physically and mentally frazzled.

We go on the pitch with 10 men lately.

Prediction for summer is Haaland and Rodri leave or Pep does.

Bent as fuck 1st goal 2 defenders throwing Haaland to the ground touch them in the book they can kick us to fuck after the ball has gone but half that team out there in that 2nd half need fucking off cowards
That kind of negative officiating gets into the heads of the players and changes their mindset and decision making.

We aren't mentally or physically strong enough to deal with it this season.
