Yes! You get a yellow card or a red card if it’s warranted but if the ball isn’t in play then there’s no different way of putting it back into play, it’s not a foul.

It’s literally the first line of the laws on fouls and misconduct.

I haven’t watched it back yet to see if they were right to say it wasn’t in play.
Yerp, it's the argument I made when Wolves/Arsenal fans were whinging about Bernardo vs Strand Larsen last week. That is the law.

However, on the replay I saw it looked like it continued when the ball was in play in this instance

Can anybody explain another 15 minute half-time team drop off again?

I absolutely dread the half-time whistle.

Because the team that comes out in the 2nd half isn’t the same team that goes in winning in the 1st half.

What does Pep actually say and do during the half-time team talk that makes the players capitulate in the 2nd half of a match as often as they do?

I am going to say it, we are a arrogant team, score a couple of goals and then in 2nd half play around thinking that we have won game, and then fucking carnt pass a ball and any 50 / 50 balls and we don't go for it, we Ness out of it cowards, and how many games this season have we been winning and stop playing in 2nd half. Cowards and arrogant

Looks like he was onside, at least - well, unless my pausing of the 2 minute highlights wasn't accurate. Just the foul that wasn't given.

I’ve got it recorded so will watch later, I’d be surprised though as it’s so obviously proven wrong if that’s the case.

We lost the midfield in the 2nd half , Rodri was struggling and lucky not be sent off , Bernardo was tiring and O'Reilly tried but lacked the guile , Gonzalez should have been on from the bench the minute Spuds first goal went in , the defence did Ok but with the midfield being non-existent they were under pressure.
Take the point today , finish in the top four / five and hopefully get lucky in a cup competition , but this team is not ready for a title tilt and not sure even Pep can progress these players to be Champions next year , and wouldnt be surprised if Pep fell on his sword in the summer.
We have had a brilliant decade under Guardiola far beyond my dreams but all good things come to an end , we will never see his like again , a genius.

People thinkn the first half performance was good...thats a joke in itself.

We played ok for about 25 min and even then the sloppiness that was the second haldf was there for all too see. The only difference was that spurs played about as badly as any prem team Ive ever seen so we got away with it for the first part of the first half...

Too many players not good enough or simply dont get what it is to be a winner in the squad

Nunes - he has done ok but ultimately we have a failed midfielder playing as our starting right back - this simply aint good enough - it also shows our complete lack of squad depth and the fact that our trasnfer activity has been poor. Walker fell off a cliff over 2 seasons ago and aint been replaced.....The fact that we gave Rico Lewis an extended contract is another HUGE worrying sign for the peope making these decisions.

Stones and Ake never fit - said all summer - this has come back to bite us hard. Khusonov does alright But he needs to learn to eb alot more cultured. Guehi will be good but needs more experience next to him

Left back is an atrocious situation - RAN is ok going forward bu cannt defend and gives the ball away way too much - how many times have we said this about our left back situation since Pep arrived.....we need someone who can fucking defend!

NOR isnt a left back - simple as and Im not sure he is ready for midfield yet. Does he have the intelligence to play there?

We have no width - Semenyo aint a winger who is going to put decent crosses in....He is a goal scorer but im not sure he is much else at the moment - is he techincally good enough to play at the top level - Ive not seen that so far - the lad can finish but what else? Again is he an intelligent footballer....again Im not so sure.

Reijnders is a fucking disaster - simple as - no excuses - one of the worst transfers ive ever seen - I dont want to see him on the pitch again for us...

Cherki - technically fantastic BUT stop being an entertainer....start being a serious footballer....fuck the tricks and flicks and keep possession and play the pass when needed.....

Our bench today looked weak besides Foden and Nico G.....

Pep Ljinders has got to go. The man is as much use as a hedgehog in a condom factory. This high line is school boy stuff you are taught in under 12's jumpers for goalposts.

It also doesn't help when your manager fucks off to Barcelona or wherever for a Pro Palestine campaign when you've got a huge game in 3 days time, then has his assistant coaching the side/delivering the press conferences. Far too many people far too comfortable at this place at the moment. Haaland is one of those. Need to start being ruthless again, if they aren't performing - get them out of the side and get this side fighting again!

Can't complain, we surrendered.

Rodders is finished and just grabs people giving a nailed on yellow as he is too slow now. 4 times in 3 games.

We should have enough for top 4 I hope.
