Seat Counters 25/26

We just about sold out the FA Cup final last May. Given the continuing apathy since that time, coupled with the League Cup being the poorer relation to the FA Cup, I think we'd struggle to sell out if we got to the final.
And a lot more tickets to sell as well

Name a cup final we haven't sold out
the LC final against Villa in 2020, I think we still had some club wembley's not sold (a 100 maybe?), and I remember there being articles about how we hadn't sold it out (even though we did sell our initial allocation and got more tickets I believe)...the main reason I remember it, is there was gobby Villa fans after the match on the tube, saying how it was embarrassing we hadn't sold out a final

We sold out our original allocation. That's all that matters in my opinion.

I've just heard a City fan say the upper tiers in the East and Colin Bell are closed on Wednesday night

Surely that's not true? I've just checked on the OS and there is no availability in either tier but tonnes everywhere else, which suggests it could be true?

They're not closed. They've just stopped selling them for this game. It'll be a similar scene to the Galatasaray game.

You said it would be embarrassing if we didn't sell out a cup final..so why assume we won't?
i said if we didn't sell out for the league cup final (if we get there) it would be embarrassing - that's not assumption it's an observation

Not true, my relocated seat from SSL3 is for block 329

You can't observe something that hasn't occurred..
If we get there we will sell out..but even if we didn't it's not embarrassing with the amount of finals we have been too over the past 10 years..people don't have bottomless pockets.

We didn't "just about" sell out the FA Cup final last year. In fact we had an extra allocation.
The only "sticky" tickets were the Level 2 seats with obscene prices from memory £230+ which took about a week or so to go. Some other baulked at £165 as well but all sold in the end to ST and Memberships.

We didn't 'just' sell out the final. It actually sold pretty quick on the whole, it was those super expensive £250 level 2 seats that were a nightmare to shift towards the end.
