Also, Gibbs White for Kovacic please
Kinda looks like an poor quality AI image you'd see on Twitter back in the day when we were trying to buy Kaka.
Also, Gibbs White for Kovacic please
No chance Alan Partridge.
We need to play a different style of football. An unaggressive style that over focuses on ball retention, and depends almost entirely on individual brilliant moments for success is just not a good recipe for success. No matter who we bring in.All we need is a midfielder that can win his duels and is smart on the ball
It's not just press resistant.I’d like midfielders that are press resistant. EA seems to be that category so I hope we get him.
I think we can have doubts about Pep and Rodri being with us next year, maybe even others that may want to move for a changeIf I'm him then I'm taking a long look at our current state and thinking twice. No guarantee Pep will be manager, Rodri who there are genuine concerns about getting fit again and Gonzalez who's a connundrum all in himself.
I've been heavily in favour of this transfer but now I worry we're going to put all our chips on him solving our midfield for us & not sure that's realistic or fair
Well on the basis of your first paragraph he’ll walk into the team and be a guaranteed starter. If I'm him then I'm taking a long look at our current state and thinking twice. Might walk into the team, but might not fancy playing in itWell on the basis of your first paragraph he’ll walk into the team and be a guaranteed starter.
Yo be fair, any footballer expecting the same manager for a 5 year contract will be disappointed. Other than Pep I can't think of many who've done more than 3 years! If I'm him then I'm taking a long look at our current state and thinking twice. No guarantee Pep will be manager,
For reference I hit like 7 times but only 1 seems to be showingIt is difficult to imagine a world in which a club's fans cast doubt on the willingness, and even the judgement of a player wishing to join their club. In what world would a player of 23, who has lived, since they were ten, with one club dominating English football, winning multiple trophies, smashing records and creating a style of play lauded worldwide, not wish to leave a provincial club which has not won any trophies whatsoever in a quarter of a century and lies in 17th place in the PL to join it?
We have some weird-ass fans.
Many thanks. I woke with a fervour! For reference I hit like 7 times but only 1 seems to be showing

We need both. Possession football will no longer be the only route to creating chances against well-coached low-block rivals. Playing direct also creates more turnovers which we are vulnerable to because of the high-line. Having a mix is, I think, what we are aiming for and why we seem a little non-cohesive at this moment. That's the thing isn't it. The way we play used to create chances without the need for individual brilliance, because we'd create space for someone to take advantage of.
Now teams sit deeper and that space just doesn't exist and is hard to create, so playing this way means we do need individual brilliance.
The only time space occurs now, and individual brilliance isn't really needed is on transitions, yet half the time we decline to try and take advantage of them.
On the plus side, I think we are evolving now and things could look different by the end of the season.
Will be when Rodri leaves. For me, EA is an absolute must signing for next season.
Need to fix our pressing also, its really poor compared to Peps best teams. We need both. Which is quite strange as I woke with a hard on.Many thanks. I woke with a fervour!
Yes. I think injuries have affected our confidence with this.Need to fix our pressing also, its really poor compared to Peps best teams.
