miss pigy said it'll all be about rodri up to embargo bit not one question about rodri so script out the window go to add break fast ....... and now mancheshernited blah blah

Carabao will be chuffed that Pep is doing his press conference with a pair of lucozade sports bottles on show.

Another charge incoming!
I'd hazard a guess that the first question will be along the lines of "we've noticed you seem to be getting paranoid Pep, have you not thought of leaving and taking a break from football (please)".

Quiet surprised.

The rag at BBC opened with a question about City on the verge of another final.

Henry Winter seems to be trying to launch a one man campaign to get Rodri banned..Essay after essay with that pleb.

I actually don't see much wrong with that tweet. Everyone knows full well that if you call out referees you risk a ban - loads on here suggest Pep should just do it and take the punishment quite often.

The part where Rodri hasn't been listened to is the overplaying, which is resulting in significantly worse football and, in Rodri's case, a debilitating injury which may impact his future playing ability

He doesn’t address the numerous decisions that have gone against us that Rodri talked but gives equal weight to Rodri not receiving a 2nd yellow card. He also fails to mention how many Spurs players deserved yellow cards.
Did the spurs players come out after the game and complain? Rodri has made himself a target

Pardew did the same on air Sunday night.
The Talksport presenter of the show Pardew was on tweeted some crap about 115 and we should be in Division 1 yesterday.

This has been going on daily for years.

When will somebody on the Board at City ever grow a pair of bollocks and start fighting back - starting by banning that fucking radio station from stepping foot inside the Etihad.

I’m sure that’s not possible but ffs do something

It seems like open season on the players, the manager, the club and the fans this week. Pure baiting and gaslighting by the media
As disappointed as we all are by recent results and performances, we need to adopt a siege mentality and get behind them more than ever tomorrow
If the press box vermin were to get some long overdue hostility in return then they should stop clutching their pearls, they need to remember that they started it. Actions have consequences

I am in block 016 tomorrow because we moved from the third tier, can i get to the press from there?

I've thought and posted the same for years. It's uncanny how often one of them mention something and then coincidentally it's often used as the rationale for a decision.

Two that really spring to mind are 1) Shearer in last years cup final - Henderson that's not a red and 2) perfectly good Phil goal chalked off at Dippers 2023 for a supposed shirt pull by Erl on a Dipper about a minute before- apparently 'interferening' with play. Forgot who the ref was but Neville mentions the shirt pull and what a surprise goal chalked off. This may have been same game when Milner was fouling like fcek, getting away with all sorts and ref let it g0 z was probably Oliver or Alty can't quite recall.

So yes, I'm convinced commentary pundits influence Stockley Park decisions.
Ref was Taylor and he has managed game from an high bar letting the game flow and not giving niggly fouls UNTIL the supposed foul

The essence of Rodri's complaint is that the protection of the referees has been withdrawn from a team that wins too much for the League's liking.

Now where have we seen that before?

Mike Riley was a disgrace that evening ( more than usual ) later to become head of PiGMOL

This is what giving an interview like he did does. It gives the media a free pass to use the quotes exactly as they want their readers to interpret it. Naive from both Rodri and Pep IMO. Yes us fans can fume and mouth of, but as a paid employee and representative of the club, words should be chosen carefully, or just not said if emotions are running high
Im glad he said it fed up of pussy footing around Frankly I dont give a damn how they use it
