It's like a proper mix of old and young City fans all over the Etihad, who are all up for it.

Of course being 3-0 up and Wembley bound helps.

But that shouldn't take away from the fantastic support.
 
I enjoyed it and the atmosphere was ok, helped by 5 or 6k Geordies too. But up in CB3, it's truly a library. You can hear people 40 seats away talking about their nephew. Was made to feel like I'd ruined folks nights when I belted out a few songs. One old fella near me said about 6 words all game, exclusively tosser or wanker, and all directed at City players. Anyway, enjoyed myself, hoping to get to my first cup final.
 
First time in a few years, I was in south stand level 1 or 0 tonight. I’ve got a few observations

It could be because I was in it, but I thought it was much louder than a normal league game. There was a stand wide chant of ‘we love you city we do’, which I haven’t heard properly at the ground for years. Let’s keep that going

The acoustics are really weird though. I came down after half time and there was a group at back singing, could hear them clear as anything. I walked down the stairs a bit to my spot and couldn’t hear them at all.

I do think as a singing section it doesn’t work. It’s too small and the away fans can easily outsing us. However despite that, the biggest issue is the amount of people who sing half heartedly. It was like the volume was turned off on people right near me - people actively singing, but quiet as anything. Not enough people joining in or singing their hearts out.

Well done to the blues at the game. Thought the atmosphere was decent enough all things considered
 
Let’s be honest.

Up to the first goal the Geordies were loud.

After that they were shit for the remainder of the match.

Their support and fans are no different to ours.

Yet, just like the Scousers, they have this mythical reputation of being great supporters.

They aren’t.

Even from a tem.who used to get 16k at home.

I've jack it in ..from 84 till 2 years ago home and away.
Ive jacked.
But the club have done this.
Driven lads away.
Priced them.out.

It's all been sid before .
It's too late now though

Who cares about what some random people on social media say. They’d be saying similar even if it was full
