Seat Counters 25/26

On the 61st minute we had loads of camera phone lights waving at the top of ESL3 and CBL3.(picture tomorrow)

Obviously school parties or some other kids groups with free tickets from the club, or cheap tickets at best. Just to fill empty seats.

Yet the club can’t sell tickets leading to 1000’s of empty seats because of their ticket pricing policy for the match.

I hope Khaldoon calls Soriano, Danny Wilson, and the other directors in via video link and asks them what the fuck is going on.

There was a shocking amount of empties tonight. A mix of reasons, but lots of our fans just can’t be arsed and go out of habit.

The club are giving hundreds of seats to schools, hence why we keep getting a light show

Not long now……the seat counter thread only really wakes up when Wembley is on sale! Another epic few weeks no doubt in the lead up!

Just to set the scene

Allocation is usually around 32000

Seat prices last year were £41 cheapest to £150 on level 2.

Piss poor attendance tonight but there are plenty of contributing factors. Didn’t notice the same amount of selfie stick waving half and half c*nts though, so every cloud…

They don’t show up for the less glamorous games. Tonight, Exeter and others the day trippers are no where to be seen.

Half the time I’m noticing a lot of them aren’t actively supporting us, they are there for a day out

If you are on all cup schemes you will have paid for Exeter,Salford,Galatasaray and Newcastle on top of your season ticket
For an average punter thats a lot of money in one month
They should reward us legacy fans with cheaper tickets for cup games
BTW I pay for 4 family members all ST holders and on all cup schemes
I was there tonight and for a semi final the attendance was poor
All these new ticket rules are screwing us over
Dread to think how things will go when we open the new stand

It will go exactly the same. Empty seats for league cup semi finals. They might as well just shut one of the top tiers to save money.

41000 is not too bad based on previous semi finals. West Ham 30k and Burton 32k Bristol City 43k.

I was there tonight I don't understand why you're bothered that others couldn't be arsed. Enjoy the the night. Wemberlee again ole ole!!

Any City fan could buy a ticket tonight without a membership.

it was £10, £25, £20 and £17.50 taken out in Dec, Jan and Feb, so not one month.

It isn't that bad on the cup scheme, League Cup prices need to be agreed by both clubs, and the minimum they could charge for Exeter was £10.

A Great atmosphere tonight
Just City regulars, FOC's and loads of young lads all mixed in, singing, and supporting the team.
Hey! It was flat as fuck apart from the Geordies.

Not really arsed but no way was that a great atmosphere from our point of view.

I'd dispute the regular reference too, most of the regular S/T holders in our area weren't there.

Part of the reason why the atmosphere is generally poor might be because there’s actually people saying it was good tonight.

Have we forgotten how good it was for games like that just a few years ago? It was poor tonight, once again. Just because it might’ve been slightly better than last week doesn’t mean it was any good.
Unbelievable how people say it was good, I'm bemused by the comments.

The only sustained noise came from them.

Where has this 45k sold nonsence come from?
Not a chance.

Even if a couple of thousand who bought didn't turn up, it still doesn't make it anywhere near 45k

We don't need to count empty seats for games like tonight because I can 100% say Manchester City had one and a half feet in the final. The League Cup games don't sell out; this is by every other club as well

So in positive news we've got another Wembley seat count to look forward to, so let me give my ticket Criteria Suggestion.

Monday - All ST Holders on Cup Scheme
Tuesday - All ST Holders
Wednesday - All Matchday Members

And allow people to buy up to 4 as soon as they're eligible. This will allow groups to buy together straight away.

Club need to make sure they don't drag this out.
