Thought that was February?
Closed in February as well :-

Most train services that run through Manchester Piccadilly will be affected by planned closure from Saturday, 14 February, until Sunday, 22 February, and then again on Sunday, 22 March (until 1pm).

Newcastle were 350/1 to win 5-3 at half-time last night!

I booked my train earlier in the week as I knew the prices would rocket if I left it until after the 2nd leg. Got it for £46 return from Stockport - change at Stafford going down, direct back - with a Two Together railcard.

I know that’s arrogant on the face of it and the kind of thing we used to take the piss out of United fans for but I had a saver bet on Newcastle to qualify at 12/1 to cover the cost of the train in case we fluffed our lines last night.
good pricing that, we got our hotel £74 a room with early check in, ok with 2 in each room,
lucky that we can all take the Monday off work

Can anyone give me an estimation of how long it'll take to get from Wembley to Euston after the game by train/tube.
Depends if you stay to watch trophy lift etc. quickest I’ve done it was about 35/40 mins. If you feel like it’s going to be tight you need to get out before they do the hold backs to stop the station being overcrowded.

Lots of good deals on hotels as nothing much on that weekend in London.

Travelodge Kings Cross is £60
Some Premier Inn around £50 including Ealing which is only 3 miles from Wembley and Hendon 2 miles for anyone driving.

Good for a London club to go to a final hey?! They get bigger wages they don’t have to travel as far it be at least £50/100 cheaper add in the amount of time we have gone to Wembley where in honestly it’s not as exciting as it was! It’s like having a bar chocolate one after another eventually you’ll get fed up with it! Winning trophies though us fans will never get board of now it’s the journey a few find tedious! Yep we been spoilt

The day is the best bit most of the time the stadium is the worst bit for me.

Excited for this one I want us to put arsenal back in their box, far too arrogant these days.

I agree the expense and lumber is all on us but that’s never going to change however much we moan about it.

Imagine the piss that will be boiled if Pep and the club manage to show horn Guehi into the squad by getting the rules changed lol.

It should be changed, but I can’t see it.

Well we know we won’t get a fair crack with the referees which makes it even more a harder game! Var will fuck us as always! Maybe we are due are var fcuk up going OUR way

The actual tube ride from Wembley Park to Euston Square is only about 20 mins. You have to factor the walk from the ground to the tube, how long the queues are and a five minute walk to Euston. If you get a clear run from the stadium to the tube and a train arrives as you step on the platform you can do it in about 35 mins. But give yourself an hour and that factors in a queue down Wembley Way, getting on a tube and a quick visit to Sainsburys at Euston.

Which one, if I may ask? 192 or replacement buses?

It may take longer to get from Piccadilly to Stockport by bus than from Stockport to Euston by train :-)

Replacements I would imagine. Maybe they will postpone the work ?

I’m sure there will be some announcement about this at some point.

Here is info. Looks like no trains from Piccadilly until after 12.30. Lots of other routes affected too.
