For Liverpool, a solid defense with Khusanov's speed, Dias and Guehi's character, and the freedom for O'Reilly and Nunes to provide crosses and attacking threat.

Nico Gonzalez and Rodri in midfield, and an attacking trio of Cherki, Semenyo, and either Marmoush or Haaland.

It's a very balanced starting eleven, considering current form and availability.

.......Khusanov......Dias..........Guehi......

Nunes.........Nico G.....Rodri......O'Reilly

...............Marmoush or Haaland...........
If we can keep that team on the park for the majority of the remaining league fixtures I truly believe we can still win the title.

Of course a win this weekend will enhance my optimism even further.

Anyone know who the guy asking the question about Peps comments on conflicts is? Heard him for the past few months now in press conferences and every question he asks is either critical or heavily loaded, he's absolutely desperate to get something from Pep so he can go all in on him.
Piers Morgan?

Great to see Dias back but not sure I'd partner Dias and Guehi for the first time at Anfield, especially as the CBs have been pretty exposed this season. We might also need Khusanov's recovery pace.

I think the gloves will be off for this because neither is really in the title race with nothing to lose
Pep can use this as our big away game mentally, he keeps saying we need to win silverware and the Champions league

its the most hated ground for City to visit. They don't like us and have got away with some really bad shit towards our players coaches and fans coaches, plus the Merseyside police are a joke and blind

I’m expecting a loss, would be happy with a point …. a win for all the regular Blues who go year after year would feel like a Cup Final victory in itself.

Think we'll get a draw. A lot depends on the second half. Cant see us winning. We have an incredibly shit record there.

I think Pep plays Dias and Guehi which terrifies me as a high line against Ekitike. We'll be better organized and with the ball though but I'd still prefer Khusanovs raw pace as a failsafe.

Watch salah who has been shi# all season turn into prime Pele, always scores against us, every season you could put your house on him scoring against us and Son for the spuds, luckily Son is no more

Yet Rodri won 16 duels at Spurs, which was far more than any other player in the PL last week.

Rodri won about as many duels as the other City midfielders (O'Reilly, Bernie, Cherki) combined.
The fact that he had to win that many duels is more a statement about our set up and performance rather than Rodri

Players from this team who have a winning record against Liverpool – minimum 3 games played

Donnaruma 2-0-1
Rodri 5-5-3

Thats it. The list
