If we can win trophies this season, then the loss of experience can be mitigated. Losing such players, especially those who are still under contract next season, should consolidate the rebuild.
 
The window closed, we did what we must, but we did not use the window for what it is best at, identifying clubs that needed, identify players at these clubs, and bring them in, before other clubs do in the summer. Dadason was one,scored against Barca now in Spain he is the new Lewandowski, he should be here supporting Haaland, we should have bought in a loan signing CB Solet would have been one of my choices, but we did not use the system to it`s full advantage. What we did do was good but what we did not do is bad.

Seriously? and in three years or less when Donna asks to leave, where do we go for two top class goalies? Tonali also wants to go back to Italy he never wanted to leave.

Like it or not, Trafford is too good to be a number two and even Jack Gaughan has posted that Trafford wants to leave to be a number one at a top club? Also, David Ornstein posted that Tonali was offered around on deadline day in the premier by his agents so not seemingly that much in a rush to leave england?

Dadason scored one goal and is the new Lewandowski?

Where is Marmoush in this plan as supporting Haaland.

Why do we need to loan Solet when you can sign Guehi.

Signed a one-year extension last October, keeping him there to 2028. He also got married last summer and the couple had a baby in January, so it could be they want to go home to Italy, but which Italian club could afford to pay what Newcastle would ask?

Why would Solet be loaned unless he isn’t that good

Make a decision on players like Reis, Nypann and Echerverri very quickly

We cant afford to buy middle of the road prem players from average teams as we have been doing...one or two to bolster the squad are fine but start filling it with this level of players we will find us dropping of the pace very quickly

We have to go back to buying proven quality if we are to make up the gap - we have enough projects and squad level players....we need some real quality with winners mentality

We need at least one left back (maybe two), one or two right backs, midfield driving force and wide players who actually create....
