With Vonn lying on the course in pain … “it’s likely we’ll have a course hold”
 
It sucks for Vonn but at the same time I can't believe that she was told this was a good idea. I am certain all her doctors told her to not do it but she likely ignored the advice. Not worth it by the sounds of it.
 
If a woman with one metal knee and other one busted, is one of the contenders is the sport talent pool really that deep? Some of the winter Olympics sports remind me of equestrian or things like that, very niche, very rich. And we're all supposed to celebrate them?

I hope she hasn't broken her other knee but tbh iv not got that much sympathy. Someone else could have taken that spot, and now all the other racers are impacted.. silly decision to let her ski.

Not sure how you can watch that accident and not have much sympathy.

She qualified through the American Olympic trials so deserved to be in the team. Can’t fault her determination and grit to go for it. Especially knowing the dangers involved even for a fully fit downhill skier.

Hope she’s okay as that was some crash.
