We will know by the first ten minutes how this will go, if we start messing up our passing and silly errors then it'll be the same old situation at the Dippers.

Just been on the Arse forum. I think this post pretty much captures the prevailing mood :

They've definitely booked the open-top bus already.

We need to push for 3 points today. Arse ain't dropping many more points this year.

We will play a stupid high line as always. Dippers don't have the threat they had. A draw I think.

Is it one win, in the COVID season at A field since that 2-1 win back in the early 2000s?

We have gone there with much better sides than this and failed to win. Always seem to shit the bed!

It's win or bust for our title chances in my opinion. Those poor results since the turn of the year haven't given us another option.
The shittest dipper side probably since the early Rodgers era though.

But still, no chance we’re even getting a point out of the vermin cunts as usual.

As Ernest Hemingway wrote - “how did you go bankrupt” - gradually then suddenly.
That phrase sums City’s title hopes up perfectly. It’s been slipping but lose today and it’s curtains

The big question today is when are we going to get fucked over by VAR or corrupt ref. First half or secondhalf? Been happening for over 50 years at the cultdome.

They turn var off when we go there! It’s the there is a fault with it it’s not working! Especially the offsides or the tight ones! Which it’s us it will go Liverpool way if it’s tight got Liverpool it will go there way!

Man City home and away gets fucked over! We don’t even get a fair referee at home!

We haven't lost yet. And even if we do, Pep is not going to give up.

Don't embrace negativity.

That team demolished the rags at thier dump this lot had thier arses handed to them there a couple of weeks back. Just saying.
But the team that wins the league this year won't need 89 points. Arsenal had their arses handed to them by United a week after the derby - will they not do it?

We need to stand firm, maintain our shape, and show a bit of resilience there today ..... the type of gutsy city that performance we saw this season at the Emirates is called for (aside from the last gasp injury time bit !) ..... I suspect that, should we lose this game, not only the slim title chance will have gone, but we're also gonna have a real battle to stay in the top four !

They have enough threat. Salah still there ,Ekitike playing really well ,Gakpo is fast and Wirtz can find them with through balls, people pretend like Liverpool is utter sh1t lol. They are not.

You're right ...... we are in 2nd place, and can only achieve 89 points ourselves as things are right now ..... so, as things stand, if Arsenal reach 90 points, it's all over for certain !

But, like yourself, i suspect that 89 will do it for them, and maybe even less , because rivals are probably more likely than they will be to drop points, due to the pressure of attempting to bridge the points gap.

Do you want me to say their break will slaughter our suicide high back line?

nah, not giving up in February while the points difference is in single digits.
Whilst I agree it's a long way to go, we haven't threw a single punch in this title race. Winning here I think would be the first time Arsenal go 'oh wait'. We'll have played United, Spurs and Liverpool away and kept the gap the same. Anymore than 6 imo is too much for this team to close.

All that said I think we'll get beat today, I also thought that at Arsenal though, hope I'm wrong.
