Seat Counters 25/26

Re: Galatasaray I've never seen the ground so empty since it was smaller and Pearce was the manager and you could pick your seat. I sit in South level 3. Not a lot there. The 3rd levels in Colin Bell and East were 80 per cent empty . I read the official crowd was more like 35 000.
The midweek crowds for European games have always been good , well priced , and more often than not, creating a a decent crowd , with a good atmosphere , better then league games. .
That said, bizarrely , the atmosphere for the Galatasaray was better than usual. City making a lot of noise. Good away support adds to it all . Strange fixture, it had all the last minute jeopardy and yet the ground was half empty,.

My concern , that this is a pointer for future games.

Apathy, cost, excuses self entitlement , leaving 15 minutes before time regardless of the score. , whatever the kick off time., spending more time looking at the phone than the game in front us, 30 minute half time time bevy......this is the new City fan .

Already many making excuses that a Cup Final v Arsenal is a non starter and they cant be arsed watching their team at Wembley . Fair play to the fans who make the effort , regardless .

Fulham have sent the top tier back

So it’s £30 adult and £18 kids

while being true, it distorts the figures about City's pricing, as these prices only exist when the away team don't want the top tier, the real pricing is 51 pounds starting and has been all season, so the club boasting about 30 pound tickets is misleading, add to the fact they removed ticket transfer i personally conclude they have treated fans with complete contempt.

Does relentless negativity help us exit this cycle of negativity? City started it all by prioritising revenue but negativity doesn't help either.

Worse thing about these so called gestures is they never consider refunding the loyal customers who purchased similar seats in SS3 early snd thereby paid a lot more or god forbid bought if one of the clubs tourist touting sites

Anyway, I’ve managed to more or less fill a coach for Wembley over the weekend. Will do a few hours work and then try and sort some cheap tickets for Blues for Salford at home.

Many of us like a good moan but I’m getting a tired of some lies from the so called “influencers”. These include tickets can’t be transferred and season cards exclude the top six games. Maybe it’s just being misinformed and lies are too strong.

Certainly, ticket transfer restrictions are too severe for many of the less volatile games. Also, a lot of fans have run out of money and there should have been more affordable tickets for Newcastle in the Cup. More effort definitely needs to go into encouraging the next generation of Blues but some of our posters led an onslaught against Supporters Club members who have tried to help with that.

That said, on balance, partly based on all the excuses on here, we deserve to have the piss taken out of us. I sorted ticket transfers within 15 minutes through the Ticket Office the day before the Newcastle game. Then there’s Blues who can’t park up further from the Etihad as it might mess their rollers up.

If you really want to help priced out fans, try to do something about it, rather than coming on here boring us to sleep.

Safe journey to all the Blues at Anfield today.

Negativity is alienating your fan base, the truth is highlighting it, delusion is pretending everything is alright when it's clearly not, a few paragraphs on a forum will have the sum impact of fuck all

No one has suggested everything is all right but relentless negativity just drags everyone down. Don't assume that your take on things is shared by everyone else. You are entitled to your opinion just like everyone else.

Occasional fans don't want a few affordable games each season against Fulham, Brentford and Bournemouth, just because the opposition don't sell out. They also don't want restricting to cheap cup games against lower division opponents.

You're one of the lucky ones Tim. My mate spent 2 hours on phone the day before the Newcastle game trying to transfer his ticket to his daughter. It's totally unacceptable that a simple task like that should take so long. Do they not think that people have other stuff going on in their lives?

That should all be automated mate. Has he got his daughter a £5 membership btw. Just in case that helps speed things up. Also, if they are strongly linked the ticket should download straight to the daughter’s phone if she has one.

It’s very frustrating and the systems should work better.
