That is for you @Eccles Blue

In moments of doubt, wiser heads prevail

You made my day
Thank you. I aged 10 years during the game until 90 minutes. I was still sure we would win but not sure how!!

After the whistle blew I went back to being a teenager.....in my head!! *lol*

Yes you can. If both players were pulling each other's shirts they would have ignored it. It's up to the ref to interpret the rules.
Would you have the same opinion if it was 1 all at the time?
It’s a bit difficult to disallow a goal and send a player off for denying a goal scoring opportunity when the ball is in the net!

Bollocks mate

Loads of reasons to let that go

Advantage, benefit to the attacking side, off the ball, their keeper in our fucking half!

It was unecessary, Laws of the game or not.

And to add, although not relevant too much for us a 3 game ban for him, no need, poor officiating yet again, for the millionth time this season

Fuck the book, what about the spirit of the game.

Ultimately, referees just not doing their job isn't the spirit of the game either. The red card could have a big impact outside of this 90 mins.

Not just that. Sunderland are going for Europe, Brighton want to progress in the FA Cup and Forest are in a relegation fight, and now Liverpool's best player is suspended for those 3 games.

Plus Brentford, Chelsea, United all fighting with Liverpool for the CL spots.

If it was a cup game and the only thing changing is the scoreline one team wins by, I'd probably agree with you, but you can't get this upset about referees doing their job correctly.

Haalnd fouled, no free kick, then he fouls, free kick. They really are taing this piss at this point. Still, fuck 'em, we won.
Played the advantage as the ball was still going in but haaland stops the clearance so goes back to the first foul on haaland, but I’d want the goal every day of the week

I dunno. We weren't as good in the second half as we were in the first but our goal was hardly peppered was it. We definitely have improvements to make but that was a step up from Spurs last week and an even bigger step up from Anfield last season.

Our first league double over Liverpool since... the 1970s?
Someone on the Beeb said 1937 !! ??
