7 | Omar Marmoush - 2025/26

Poor. Think he will always be a homer
I thought he was fine and was playing better than Semenyo who was really poor, but he pissed me off so much when he turned his back on the ball while Alisson came out and missed it, that was bloody criminal.

Like I said previously, he doesn't deserve to start every game, but he doesn't deserve to get treated like shit and only come on in the 85th minute, Pep needs to find a balance.

At the very least you can see his desire in pressing and hounding them down.

So I'll never be upset even if sometimes his on ball ability isn't quite city level.

He can still get goals as well so I'll always back him.

I have criticised him lately. But I thought he was fantastic today. I thought he should of stayed on as he was a much bigger threat then Semenyo.

Can’t help but feel he’s lacking confidence, and rightly so when he lacks minutes.

Will we ever get to see a Marmoush at full confidence and a continuous run of games?

I fear not.

Thought he did alright, he was the main threat first half with his running behind, seemed to be much more in sync with Haaland than anybody else. Wouldn't say he shouldn't have been subbed but he shouldn't have come off before Semenyo.

Has all the ingredients but is a bit soft. We need a team of Bernardo’s until the end of the season and see where it takes us.

A bit lightweight. Couldn't stay on his feet when challenged - I counted 6 times and only 1 of those was a foul (by Konate). Favourite to get to the ball first against Allison, when a touch and a foul would have got a DOGSO red card.

I like Haaland, Marmoush and Semenyo together.

All 3 can be out and out strikers in their own right and drive defenses crazy.

HMS City!

Yeah he needs to be stronger. Gets pushed off the ball a lot and goes down too easy. It results in a lot of people in the match thread angry he's not fouled but the truth is he just needs to stay on his feet a bit longer and force the defender to genuinely foul him.

His general play is improving though.

He's played in every game since he returned from AFCON 19 days ago and started 4.

Add in AFCON and he's played 12 games in 6 weeks since Christmas, starting 8 and playing 700 mins.

If that's not enough game time for him to be confident then he's never going to be confident.

Where was the desire when Alison came out and he shit out
