The Salad/Guehi red card is gaining momentum as the turning point of the game , what about Konate with two hands on Mamrmoush in the penalty area and pushing him to the ground in the first half , because Chuckle Brother didnt think it was a penalty VAR didnt get involved. Your not telling me VAR are not influenced by the Sky commentary , because that was anailed on penalty , but not a mention on any programme or website , it never happened.
Salah's dive on that faint shirt pull was downright embarrassing, the cheating ****

I find myself what would have happened had Erl not fouled Szoboslai. Szoboslai would have made the clearance and you can 100% guarantee that Pawson would not have pulled it back for the original foul on Erl.

Since neither of them touched the ball it should have been treated as an off the ball incident, both should have been booked and the goal should have stood
Haaland sent off in that scenario then!

We got given an advantage when Haaland is fouled. Once Haaland fouls him back then the advantage stops. Same way that Haaland wouldn’t have been able to pick the ball up and run it into the goal.

The VAR literally HAS to tell the ref to check again as per the laws. It pisses me off and I was livid at the time but it’s still correct.
Would VAR have got involved had the ball rolled just wide of the post though?

Who has advantage there? The ball was going in anyway! Haaland scores if he wasn’t pulled back! But yeah var gets involved!

My only surprise is that there hasn't been a petition for a replay.....yet!

And @willcap where are you, where are you?

Hopefully banned for being a wum but if not why aren't you joining in the joy of winning on miseryside?

Absolutely buzzing after yesterday and more so doing it late and from a goal down. Hopefully this gives us the momentum to push on now and apply the pressure om mardarsenal.

When Haaland felt his shirt being tugged he should have collapsed in a heap and brought Slobodob down with him. Then the ball would have continued on its merry way. We just don’t play like that though.

It was never going to be a Cherki goal without both fouls.

Either Haaland taps it in or Szoboslai clears it. Haaland was fouled which prevented him from scoring and a red card was rightly awarded. Haaland then fouls Szoboslai which prevents him from clearing the ball, so the goal can't stand either.

Correct decision even though it leaves a bitter taste.

Does the faintest of shirt pulls seriously make a grown man throw himself on to the ground. Salah cheated to try and get a pen, he's been doing it season after season now. Cheating ****!
Ahhh yes the obligatory dive from salah when the red scousers play City the wee shit was definitely expecting to get a pen for that ..

Take all players out of that photo does the ball trickle over the goal line? If so var shouldn’t of got involved if it wasn’t going in yes better of the law it was the right decision

I have moaned about VAR plenty of times but I think it was spot on for the 'third' goal.
If Haaland hadn't had pulled the dipper back the dipper would have cleared it. So Haaland is stopping a goal clearing chance.
VAR then had to go back to the first foul of the dipper stopping Haaland a clear goal scoring chance.
How won I feel if it was 1-1 at the time ? Kin annoyed.
