3 | Ruben Dias - 2025/26

Today really highlighted to me what we’ve missed most while he’s been out, leadership.

We crumble at 1-0 down without him, like we did when Spurs scored last week, or when United went 1-0 up, or when Bodo scored. Dias doesn’t let us crumble.

The mentality of him is on a whole different level to anyone else out there. Sorely missed.

Different level of leadership as you say, timely return.

It's like Dias has practiced shooting from distance. Scored a screamer against W Ham and wasn't far off yesterday. That was a great effort.
It's handy as well in the sense that midfielders won't back off him as much, opening up space in the pockets

Gigi asked for 2 ONLY in the wall

True, but the only other player who offered to be in it was Bernardo, and Gigi moved him away.
In any case, I noticed that Rodri turned sideways as the free kick was taken, making the gap a little wider. Probably wouldn't have made any difference, but may gave got a deflection... (Clutching straws here tbh)

Stones is another one who always turns sideways. Does my head in. Take one for the team

Might be better suited to Champs league the way he is moving recently, still a good player and fantastic leader

Completely agree tbh. In a tactical tight game he’s invaluable. I think theres a whole bit of storming and norming going on with Guehi’s arrival and Khusa’s show of form…. Knows he’s under threat imho.
