I usually don't mind ESPN. Some of their analysis is reasonably palatable and balanced. Plus Nedum brings some gravitas
However, that was an exceptionally poor and myopic episode.

Watched SSN for the reactions after the match, Pep you could see the amused contempt for prat with the mike. Listening to Peter very dreary commentating on our goals, he is pish.

Contrast that with the two guys at the Olympics who'd been doing the commentary on the snowboarding and freestyle ski events. Not my thing but these guys' enthusiasm and sheer love of their sports totally shine through. Ditto the six nations articulate interesting pundits with knowledgeable comms, though admittedly with shit hosts.

Football, fuck that, let's go for the utter partisan dickhead approach! I always find it joyful when other Blue Mooners have foreign streams on that are more palatable than sly. When I could get streams a couple of years ago I enjoyed the Arabic streams, particularly when they screamed BERNARDO!!!!!! at full volume.

Each to their own but the Arabic commentators give me a headache. It probably doesn't help that I haven't a word of their language but what kills it for me is they never seem to take a breath. It's like being verbally machine-gunned.

Rather than their words, it's their enthusiasm goal scored, they go bonkers. It's same with particularly South American comms, they certainly ain't martyn tyler and coterie of dead dogs dying! ;-)
