Starmer should stay IMHO. He was voted in for 5 years. He’s made mistakes and we will all get our chance to decide in 3 and a bit years if these outweigh the positives. Spivs in political parties manoeuvring in their own interests gets on my goat.

If it is true, as it seems to be, that SKS knew Mandelson was continuing his relationship with Epstein after his conviction but still appointed him then the honourable thing would be to resign. Spectacular error of judgement that you can’t come back from. Of course the tories rode this sort of stuff out but SKS ran on a platform of ethics and integrity. Let’s see if he does the right thing
