Sounds like a bad night for the buses but in my opinion shows up the state of Greater Manchester’s roads. 7:30 ko is a dreadful idea for City matches, it’s putting people off going. 8pm might make it harder for people getting home after the game but you at least know the situation and can make a judgement call on whether to go, but earlier than that and it’s just pot luck if you hit rush hour traffic, it ruins the night from the off.

(That’s not the reason I’m not there tonight though, I’m away on business).

I don’t use the bus service but I am very impressed from what I read on here. The “Matchday bus” person is always so prompt and polite with the replies and sounds so willing to help our beleaguered fans.
