2nd half irrelevant when youre 3-0 up so not reading too much into that as 5 subs were made so felt like a cup tie

1st half was excellent some really good football
how come some teams improve energy with 5 subs fulham away example we go slower
we took a free kick on halfway line waited till 6 fulham players started press passed it 2 yards to end up back at keeper

It's down to Pep instructing the players to conserve energy and slow the tempo.

He's always playing the long game and it's served us quite well over the years. We'll be full pelt from April.
Yup. Said the same thing

Second half might just be down to fitness. The amount of work the team does out of possession in the first half I can kinda see why we drop in the second half.
But the drop is immediate, team-wide. They can't possibly all feel exactly the same amount of fatigue at exactly the same time, surely?

I've been watching football since the 1960s and have never seen this in any team before. Just plain weird.

Really good first half. Second half a bit of a mess. Hope Haaland is ok, Fulham put in some naughty tackles and that **** Tete could easily have had a red outside of the nailed on red for pulling Semenyo’s hair, in fact Tierney counted up to four fouls he had made when giving him his final final final final final final warning. Anyway job done.

It’s almost as if the game was done half time
Posters have been moaning about Pep not ‘going for the throat’ since he came here.

How can any sane City fan question Pep’s season management? Especially after a comprehensive win and a clean sheet.

5 subs is changing the entire outfield lineup so there's likely going to be a period of the subs getting settled and figuring out the patterns with whoever's on the pitch and who comes on later. Taking off Nunes pretty much killed our threat down the right for stability and we subbed out the whole midfield.

Second half drop off is baffling. I saw someone saying that it is because Donna cannot play out but that does not explain why players lose the ability to control balls and make simple passes. I think having Doku on the bench ready to come on will change things when he comes back.
Yep, baffling and a bit fed up of it as it’s all the time Doesn’t help when I had £5 on 5-0
