We got the points, FA cup on Saturday and then a week off before Newcastle, then another week off. Hopefully most of our crocks will have had a chance to get fully fit by then . This squad is beginning to look promising.

Cant complain about the result, the clean sheet, or the first half performance ...... but Pep and the coaches need to get this lot fitter, and playing for the entire 90 minutes, they look 'washed up' after they've had their half time oranges!

Great first half but yet another absolutely dismal 2nd, just wtf is going on at half time?. We simply have to improve a whole lot to be classed as title contenders but somehow we find ourselves 3 points off Arsenal. Guehi motm what a signing he'll be

You conserve energy by "putting the ball in the freezer" - that's not what was going on this evening.

We actually looked like we had to put more effort in during the second half, trying to win the ball back after the latest misplaced pass.

The substitutions obviously disrupted things, but the passing in the second half tonight was abysmal.

It's down to Pep instructing the players to conserve energy and slow the tempo.

He's always playing the long game and it's served us quite well over the years. We'll be full pelt from April.
