Solid, if slightly uninspiring in the 2nd half. After half time the whole thing was a bit of a non-event. Had the impression that those being subbed off were only too happy to get out of the foul weather.
Guehi looks immense, what a signing he’s been.
Rodri still doesn’t look up to full fitness, there was one Fulham counter attack in the second half where he’d been up around their box and just didn’t have the energy to chase back - he looked done for. But to be fair he did cover most of the pitch - at some points it was hard to work out if he was playing midfield, left back or as a third centre half. O’Reilly similar by the end, he looked like he was saying as much to one of the other players at full time. Shout out to Ait-Nouri who put in a real shift, looked much sharper and finally seems to be settling in.
If we want to be hanging on to Arsenal then really Fulham at home on a piss wet through Wednesday night are the sort of bread and butter games that we HAVE to be winning. But a good performance overall, never looked in doubt and should keep the confidence levels up. More please. Onwards.
