Phew. I’ve done the drive home so many times in wet clothes and straight upstairs for a shower so I’m very glad you’ll be ok.
They make me laugh when they have no idea of your circumstances when having to leave early. Have a good night’s work.

OK before game but got pissed wet through on the way back to the car. Yet somehow I survived, and I'm guessing most of the others who went also survived.
Worth it to see that second goal though.

Job done but it’s a good job Fulham didn’t get one back. Hopefully Haaland is just a precaution.

Shouldn't need him v Salford and no midweek game next week so hopefully he's back with two or three against Newcastle.

Got the job done early. Pleasingly started fast and put the game to bed allowing us to rest those we needed to. Another "classic of the genre" lacklustre 2nd half showing but at least we didn't concede, though Phil probably should've got a red card if we are honest with ourselves - no idea what he was thinking making that sort of challenge.

Nico O'Reilly excellent, and Marc Guehi already looks an absolute bargain - a proper defender and just what we needed. Also good to see Ait-Nouri growing into the team and his role.

Can rotate on Saturday - Bernardo, Rodri and Erling in particular should be nowhere near the field. Traff, Rico, Ake, Stones, Alleyne, Cherki, Nico G, Reijnders, Marmoush amongst others should all see significant minutes - load the bench up in case we need it. On to the FA Cup and then a much needed midweek off.

We didn't lose control of the game like we often have done. Foden was close to making it 4.

I thought it was much better than other recent games. We defended much deeper so they couldn’t break on us. It was much better than the traumatic second half at Craven Cottage where we maintained a high line.
