Last season there were two stewards on entry/exit aisles, this, you're lucky to get one.
It's getting more difficult to employ any, let alone decent ones.

Zero hour contracts and £36 quid a shift and they are expected to act like the police, considering the cost of a ticket they should be paid a lot more.

Surely they get paid for the hours they are working from ie say 12-6?

They don't all work those times, they are minimum wage and expected to do the work of police it's just wrong really. You can argue that they agree to the terms and conditions but it's still stinks IMHO.

Even if they do work 6 hours it's £60 a shift (And they don't) it's a hell of a lot of responsibility to get your face in the way while the police mainly sit it out.

I'm just glad that someone's ripping off the rip off merchants, a pity it wasn't City fans though.

Does anyone know what was happening in their end at around 35-40 minutes.

Seemed like loads of stewards and old bill trying to fight their way into the middle of the Salford fans fir sone reason, but having a hard time with there being so many of them bunched up together

Not seen the clip but doesn't suprise me - walking down Ashton New Road before the game it was like day release from the raggy school of tiktoks. If more than twenty of them even knew the Salford player's names I'd be surprised.

Funnily enough I didn't see a single one post game. With united getting knocked out already it was always a potential for trouble, just hope there's more accountability than there was at the Galatasaray game.
