Ah ok, didn’t realise that. I know Cheshire retains its traditional slot.
 
Just caught up with day one of the UK indoor championships, and some good performances but Keely, just wow. Incredible run, really looking forward to Thursday now.

Femke Bol has switched to 800m this year. Some fantastic races in prospect.
Showdown at the Euro Champs? My two favourite athletes at the mo.

Bol has already said intimate isn’t racing another indoor 800 this winter. I imagine we will have to wait for outdoors but it’s gonna be some showdown.

Yeah, it wouldn't surprise me if that's the first time they raced each other. Keely is giving the Commonwealth games a miss to focus on the European Christmas.

I don't know if she'll run another 800, but she's running 600 on Thursday at the same meeting as Keely who's going for the 800 WR.
 
Keely is going for the 800m indoor WR tonight. It's live on YouTube on the World Athletics channel. The stream starts at 19:30, Keely is due to run at 22:23. Georgia Hunter-Bell and Jemma Reekie are also running in the 1500m, that's due to start at 20:30.

A few other British athletes are taking part, it's a top class meeting with lots of big names competing. Really looking forward to it.

Cheers, I was just gonna ask if there was a way to watch it. Think she’s got a chance, but gonna be tough.

The times I gave were the French time, so Keely runs at 21:23 UK time.

I was watching some London 2012 athletics on YouTube the other night. When I got to the men’s 100m final I took a screenshot of the starting line up & googled each one of the athletes. It was pretty shocking to see that out of nine finalists, 6 have since served bans for failing drug tests.

Great point. The outdoor record now looks doable for the first time in decades.
