Did the club really refused +20m for him last summer ?
I think even his biggest supporters are realising that they’ve backed the wrong horse. Its abundantly clear that he has lost the trust of the manager. He’s now only getting the games he would have hoped for as a youth team player 4 years ago. Being wheeled out once a month to give others a rest, is a huge kick in the teeth and reality check for a full international.10 hours after the game..
Not a single comment after he played the full 90 mins.
As much as I like him.. I'd say no comment by the entire forum is a comment in itself.
All the best Rico!
That’s of course assuming Forest are relegated…..Nottingham Forest level player.. if he's lucky
because he is so so so good and so so smart in the pockets according to Pep and plays him as a right back . Should have sold him long time ago.How hes played over 100 games for the club is beyond me
Maybe gets a move to a promoted club in the summer, but i dont think he'd be a regular for Forest had he gone there
That seems like a rhetorical question so it sounds like you already know the answer.Did the club really refused +20m for him last summer ?
When everyone is fit!Won’t even be on the bench when everyone is fit.
In times like the one we are in, Pep often reverts to a hard-core of trusted players, and he plays them until someone is banned or injured. I suspect we are in the midst of that and even Cherki and Foden have been sacrificed to an extent.Unfortunately I think he probably has to move on, the game is too physical for him to be a RB for us.
So midfield it is... but we are also seeing the physical players start over the likes of Foden, Cherki and Reijnders... so how does he play there?
But does he even make the squad of 22 players next season? He is 21. A clever player with a footballing brain and an ability to consistently find space.
Plenty of time to develop greater physicality.
Squads with 22 superstars never, ever deliver.
I hope so, but it is a good point. But does he even make the squad of 22 players next season?
Obviously depends who comes in and goes but I don't think so, he is probably like the 24th player for me.
He could well be 22nd or 24th choice in the squad list next season but every club has a player who is 22nd. If he is not making the squad, people who don't want him there don't have to worry. But does he even make the squad of 22 players next season?

Yeah good shout, Reis and Mfuni are a shoe in for me down the line making up some numbers.I hope so, but it is a good point.
The shame, for me, is that the game is moving towards more physicality, and in that area he cannot compete even if he really adds on muscle mass. If, for example, we bring in Reis and Mfuni, just as two possibilities, they are UNITS, and technical too.
