I'm thinking at the moment that this comfortably sells out and that includes any additional tickets we might get. This is based on the sheer number of members who have taken up the slack for FA Cup semis in the past when plenty of ST holders have decided not to go. We've sometimes shifted north of 10,000 tickets to members for those games and with this being a cup final, I'd expect demand to be even higher amongst members than for those semi-finals.

I'm calling it now - the flappers can stand down, the big flag can stay in storage gathering dust, and any Gooners thinking they're getting any tickets from our allocation can fuck right off!

I think around 16k-17k left is a fair bet, although remember theres still a few more Level 2 tickets to go on sale.

This has been a much quicker start than either of the last 2 fa cup semi finals, although no where near as quick as the Rag FA Cup finals. The fact that the club have put 5 additional blocks on sale already tells us that they agree.

I agree with you this looks like a sell out to me, however we both know that Wembley seat counting is never this simple. There'll be plenty more twists and turns before this ones over.

FA Cup Semi Final vs Forest Last Year:

At the 6,500 + Scheme window there were 18,000 showing and 9 blocks not on sale.

FA Cup Final vs Palace Last Year:

At the 6,500 + Scheme window there were 9,300 showing with all blocks on sale.


So this has been much much quicker than the Forest semi final last year, but not quite at the level of the Final, although that was a blistering start IIRC. Also worth noting that theres not as many people on the league cup scheme as the fa cup scheme.

There absolutely is.

Someone on 25k etc should not be losing out on their choice of seat to someone just over 15k because of the speed of getting in the queue or how tech savvy they are.

There were also SC allocations downstairs so I think that combined accounted for a lot of the cheap lower. From 10 below behind the nets it was pretty much corner flag blocks but more like 5 and below and few pairs. Unless more was added after half 10 I left the site then.

Yep, I was going to point out that there won't be as many on the League Cup scheme as the FA Cup scheme.

I don't expect a big number to shift in the next window as most on the cup scheme will have high points. It will be interesting to see what take up is like tomorrow when ST holders not on the cup scheme get a chance to buy

Agree with this.

I'm very interested to know why they've split the no scheme ST Holders into 6 separate windows and on such high points. Would suggest that there's a significant number of people on high points, but not on the LC scheme?

Fair enough, I take your point. Although I'm sure there were 75 quidders in 133 up until 1pm.

Doesn't help that the greedy FA twats have made the Category 3 area smaller than last time, it used to be the first 15 rows, now its just the first 10!

I thought that seemed odd myself. Could be like you've said.....or City have cocked the selling criteria up ;)

And here we have the first piece of world class seat counting of this count. Day one and EMB strikes with some expert early analysis.
 
The count will only really get exciting when members have access and it takes on a life of it's own, where not only are we counting seats, we are estimating how many counters are in the queue waiting to count seats, this will take off later in the week
