Seat Counters 25/26

Anyone know why the back 5 rows of safe standing were completely unavailable yesterday? Were they reserved for OSC, 1894? Or fucking resellers?

.
There’s no point arguing with each other. Anyone putting in the effort to improve the atmosphere at the Etihad and Wembley deserves some credit.

Glad to see sales going so well. It will be interesting to see if tickets go past season card holders. We also have many thousands more match day members this season (as tons of people on the FV pages have them now) so I’m confident of a sell out.
It will definitely go past season ticket holders. I still think it will get to the stage where season ticket holders can buy an extra 2 each. It's likely we get a further allocation too which could be another 3k tickets

So ahead of the 10am window opening all Level 5 blocks are now on the planner. It was 3 blocks added rather than the 2 I stated - about an extra 2200 seats in total. That appears to only leave the £125 seats in Level 2 to be added. Who knows how many of those there are - probably 500-600 at least, unless City have taken most or all of that section for the players, etc. It would make more sense for them to do that than snaffling some of the cheaper seats.

As things stand:

Level 5 - 10,516
Level 2 - 166
Level 1 - 2919

Total showing for sale - 13,601

This would also explain why the queues haven't been as long. I'd expect this'll be less of a factor as we go through the criteria.

Really interested to see how many sell in each window today. It makes no sense to me that the club rushed through the cup scheme criteria, but have spread out the Non Cup Scheme Criteria over 2 days.

The only reason I can think of is if there's a lot more people in this 10k-20k points range, who are no longer on the scheme, than we think.

Surely there's not many over 20k though?
I wouldn't have thought so. There are only 3k points drops from 11k to 8k to 5k as opposed to 5k and 4k points drops for the other windows so I'm guessing a larger proportion of ST holders not on the cup scheme fall into the 5k-11k points bracket than the other brackets

They've got the criteria wrong for none scheme members, they're was never going to be lots of fans on 20k+ not in the cup scheme. Should of been been 3 windows instead of 6 - 15k, 7.5k all season ticket holders.
Agree with this. I'm on cup scheme and would have qualified immediately but want to take two lads who are members. I'm confident that it will go down to members but now have to wait for these unneccessary two days to get seats together. I've got a feeling there will be lots like this wanting to go with family/friends etc.

People saying the queues are short today, I don’t think they will be on Thursday.

I don't disagree about your comments on it being easier to generate noise from the back of the stand, however it's completely unfair to accuse the one group who regularly stands up to the club on behalf of the fans, of using "club privilege" to secure cheap seats.
You can appreciate everything they do and still call this out for what it is. They’ve prioritised ticket price over atmosphere for a final. That’s their choice, and they’re entitled to use their club privilege to secure those seats. But let’s not pretend it’s an atmosphere-first decision.
