Bad management by Pep not reacting to opposition tactic changes perhaps but it’s concerning its every single game, we got away with it tonight thoughI don't even know if it's fitness.
It's happening as soon as the game restarts after half time. If we were hitting a wall after 60-70 mins, then it's fitness. But to look good, then can't get going again as soon as second half starts, it's a bit odd. Almost like it's psychological. Obviously you have to factor in the opposition making some tweaks at half time but still...
I dunno if its possible to fix the 2nd half problems with Don in net tbh
He can't kick it long and find our players.
I think his short passing is actually pretty decent, but he seems scared to do it to our players receiving under pressure.
He is the player of the season. By a universe. He’s 19 mate. 19.Difficult win but a really important one.
Wasted about 10 counters due to poor final passes or wrong decisions, especially in the 2nd half.
The lads properly fought for the 3 points, though.
O'Reilly is a contender for our player of the season.
Oh we really do - the spuds away proved that one I'm afraid. Not if we keep winning we don’t
Yep. Not a side anyone else would fancy playing with what's at stake, this weekend.I don’t care what the media say, Newcastle is a brilliant team.
Huge win.
Ait Nouri was good.Donnarumma, Haaland, Nico, Khusanov, Guehi all fantastic.
The rest wern't good enough tbh. Bernardo was horrendous, Semenyo was miles off it & Ait-Nouri was sloppy in his big moments.
Who do you think can win it then?Thank fuck for Donnarumma.
A win is a win and I’m happy with it, but with our second half performances I don’t think we can win the league.
NOR brilliant.
