Will we win the league this season? No

Crazy to think had we not blown that 2 goal lead against a crap Spurs, we'd be top of the table right now. Which even at half time of that game seemed further away than it does now.
Or blowing a lead against Chelsea in the 94th minute.......

Or limply blowing a 1-0 lead at home against Brighton and only coming away with a point.

It's currently in our hands. But likewise, if we don't win it, there are games we can look back on and only blame ourselves.

We are hanging in there despite our 2nd half performances.

It's still in les arse hands as they are 2 points ahead, having played the same number of games. At the moment, we still have to win all our remaining games.

Tough games coming up - as they all are. Let's keep on believing. Onwards and beyond.
Which means, by definition, that it's also in our hands.

Do our job, and we're champions.

no it isn't - how many times?

My point is Arsenal haven’t played great in months. Don’t believe the media hype.
Oh, I know they've been way underwhelming, and the fawning by media types has been Dipper-level, I agree.

My concern is our own form. By rights, we should be 4-7 points clear right now (fucking Rags and 3 pissing draws). The fightback has been encouraging, especially the Liverpool result, but unless we can sort out our second half perfomances it's going to be a niggle for me to feel confident. Draws are going to hurt us badly if we end the first half 2-0 ahead only to see the game out at 2-2.

I'd be more confident if our second half performances were a defensive masterclass, shutting teams out completely and holding on to the good work we did in the first half.

Technically it's in both. If City win all their remaining games, they're champions. If Arse win all theirs, (or draw against us) they are champions.

We can't BOTH win all our remaining games.

We could say that but, that would mean we have to beat arse, We both win all our games except we play out a draw at the Emptyhad. Still means les arse win the league.

One game at a time for now. Dirty leeds are finding a little form at the moment in the way they are difficult to beat.

O'Reilly moving into midfield is another little reason as to why City are improving. He's scoring goals from midfield, and I think he will continue to do so.

City are getting options now that we didn't have at the start of the season.

"Emptyhad"...?

The way Arsenal have been playing recently, [over last x6 PL], they could beat us @ Etihad & we would still be above them at season end.....

At the what?

It's funny. I don't think this City team are anywhere near the quality of some of the previous City sides. Yet they're still there, plugging away. Arsenal didn't put them away. If Arsenal drop points again today, I can see them crumbling.

I think both teams will drop points over the next few weeks though. This season's title winners aren't going to be vintage champions.
