Denton and Gorton by-election - Green Party wins

No, whilst I am not totally impressed with Starmers government, he is at least taking small steps in the right direction to START to fix 14 years of self servatives ineptitude incompetence and corruption, and the Temu Tories would be even worse. But thankfully will NEVER form a government.
A list of all the qualities which Labour have achieved in 19 months in Westminster and in 26 years in Cardiff...

I think your last sentence resonates quite strongly with the current bunch of incumbents.... don't you?

You seem to be blindly repeating the same old story that only Labour can beat Reform, without and sort of proof of it. Bookies and recent polls all put Greens as top and the only ones to stop them. Alot of people are very pissed off with Labour and Gwynne at the moment.
The polls say it is very close and the margin of error quite substantial. If Reform wins it will be down to those Labour voters who switched to the Greens - who will hang their heads in shame. Be loyal vote Labour.

What and have a continuance and more of what we've suffered over the last 20 months....?

Really? Not for me thanks.

See it's easy this isn't it?

Really? From reading your and JCs posts I doubt there's anything they could do that would be bad enough for you to not vote Labour.
Think he means that AMW’s way of life is more akin to the reform party than to stand as a Labour candidate. ;-)

Its worth knowing the only way to Chagos is by boat - a 6 day journey each way from Mauritius - Farage has no intention in being around when Goodwin crashes and burns
Were they ever expected to win though?

Greens beating labour to a safe left leaning seat would probably be a bit of a shock.

Reform winning would be very unlikely but seismic if it did happen.

Stopped the health service strikes.
Removing 450,000 children from poverty.
Breakfast clubs for children rolling out.
Worker's rights bill.
Renter's Rights Bill.
Freeze on rail fares
Stopping water companies giving CEO bonuses while polluting our waterways.
Increasing the NMW
Raids on businesses employing undocumented workers
Increased legislation to prevent and detect benefit fraud
Increasing the number of NHS appointments
Reducing the delays in asylum hearings
Closing the hotels owned by Tories holding people awaiting their Asylum hearing.

Things they SHOULD be doing
Clamp down on Non-doms
Tax on rental income
Close loopholes in corporation tax
Close loopholes where someone can take wages to a shell company

Yeah, but apart from them…

Or to put it another way....

Greens not winning the seat would be a MUCH bigger fail than reform not winning it.

Well, thank you for thinking that (a) Labour would select Andrew M-W to be a member let alone a candidate, and (b) that he would get votes.

Beyond daft. (Notwithstanding the daft appointment of Mandelson.)
