Right back options

No absolutely not

He is great going forward but a defensive liability. He has too much baggage and the fact that he went to madrid shows you what type of character he is...a galactico and we have no room for those types of players in our squad....we buy (whether you agree with it or not) players lie Guehi and Semenyo - in part because of the type of person they are....TAA is the opposite and I dont want our club to have anything to do with him
I don’t want any scouse players near the club. fuck off back to anfield you fat **** is what i’d say. you’re not welcome here.

If we signed Nunes as an unknown in the summer window, few would complain about how he has player - he isnt perfect but he’s been solid enough. Id keep going with him
Just a year back he was being cursed after that mistake against Manzu

Credit to him, but Pep is a genius with full backs. Delph, Zinch, Nines, players who weren't great and didn't play that well elsewhere, weren't even specialist full backs, but became dependable assets and even a key strength.

I wonder if with Guehi, Khuzanov might be a good back up. He has that Walker vibe in terms of sheer speed and recovery.

Think we need a right back but we should probably now be looking at a back up to nunes rather than a first choice.
Alternatively, we bring in someone of the kyle walker mould who is a monster at defending but not too attack minded. Then we can rotate based on tactics and who the opposition right winger is.

Well you've pretty much described Kushanov as that player, quick, good defending.....but offers next to nothing over the halfway line? So no great need to sign one then ;)

The question may be silly, but do you think there's absolutely no chance that Reece James will accept a transfer here, given that he has two years left on his contract this summer?

very low

he is from the academy, he is the captain, he has regular play time, has fairly good wage

He's made of the same brittle materials that were used to put John Stones together.

So whilst he is a good player, I just don't see why we'd willingly invest in another player we'd be lucky to get 25 games out of per season.
