An excellent win, albeit a nailbiting second half again.

For me, the second half issue should be easy to address, yet we're not managing it. Firstly, it's inevitable the opposition will take more risks to attack us when they're behind at HT.

The key to coping with that is to be patient and retain the ball better, rather than force things. We fight fire with fire looking to kill the game off, but it's been the same in every game this calendar year in the league that we waste chance after chance. The decision making is shocking. We pass when we should shoot, shoot when we should pass or take too many touches. We need to be much more ruthless and then the game would be done. We'd be 3-1 up and we could play keep ball and see the game out.

Keep ball starts from the back and great goalkeeper though he is, Donna can’t do it.

Talking to a couple of Geordies in the pub before the game. We'd only been chatting for 3 to 4 mins before one of them started going on about 'empty seats'. Just what is it with this obsession they have ? They're a weird lot.

No mention anywhere of the 4 fouls by Linton which all warranted yellow cards
