Fixtures Calendar - 2025/26

Wonder if that Palace home game will end up being moved to the mid-week between GW37 and GW38, like that rainy night against Villa all those years ago, when Big Edin stood up tall and Yaya scored his legendary goal.

Glad the arsenal game isn't on fa cup week. Imagine that being moved to the midweek before the final game of the season

I'm already signed up for a break in Dumfries and Galloway during a CL week - where on earth would I find a venue with the match on TV (anywhere from Whithorn to Newton Stewart).

Looking at these dates, if we stay in both Cups up to the finals (FA & CL) there is literally only 3 vacant midweeks to fit 3 rearranged league games in.

Counting chickens an all that. but it could happen.

Absolutely no wriggle room and a congested end to the sason.

Pray to god none of our other games get postponed due to weather or something else.

That international break in Spring is a fucking killer, 2 whole weeks wasted.

I have just thought of something so radical that the TV won't possibly adopt it. Don't change fixtures when there is a chance that they will have to change again at such short notice. Pick another game that weekend and leave the CL teams to play at 3.00pm on a Saturday. Fans will get two weeks notice on whether the game is 12.30 or 8.00pm which means nobody can book transport, is a hotel needed etc and it's not just for the away fans, West Ham will be impacted as well. Put Palace v Leeds at 12.30 in the first place, solves all these issues.
The trouble with that is there are nine teams in Europe and they’re all still involved.

They’d be lucky if they had one game to show each week and ‘Super’ Sunday would be Burnley V Wolves every week.

If we beat Newcastle in the cup, I expect the Palace game will be played on midweek of 21/22 April. The two possible midweeks in May will be kept free in case we have to move games due to the FA Cup SF and final.
If we go out at Newcastle, Palace may well be played on the weekend of the FA Cup sixth round (4/5 April) or one of those midweeks in May. Alternatively if both teams exit Europe sooner rather than later, additional midweek dates will open up.

Also a very young Jack Grealish’s first ever prem appearance

Nice part of the world, cant help you with which venues will be showing football - but I would have thought there would be somewhere in Newton Stewart or Stanraer. If you find you have to travel then 19th Hole at Southerness wil be open. They have multiple screens so will show whatever you ask them to. But its an hour drive from where you are staying

Didn't visit Stranraer when last there so that's best bet, even without football... but it looks like Stranraer FC Fitba Bar has Sky!

For CL games he's gonna need TNT Sports I'm guessing ?

Try this : https://www.useyourlocal.com/pubs-with-tnt-sports/
The odd thing is some have Sky and no TNT and others get TNT for free but don't really show football but may have it. ALso it is unlikely to be on a website. Best just going in the pubs and asking in advance.

General rule is go in the one near the train station first, probably limited beer options but decent for TV.

The Arsenal League game is almost definitely gonna be on Sunday April 19th isn't it?? Most likey 4:30..
Manchester Marathon is on that day and champions league games on the week before so I wouldn’t be to sure. The derby when Kompany scored the header was changed to a Monday night for the same reasons

Bugger, you're right. There's no way the police will allow it on the Sunday 19th as the Marathon, 43,000 runners, road closures etc.
Could move to Saturday at 5:30pm, most likely, or Monday at 8pm. The follwing week is notionally a free midweek, so Monday is possible. Police wouldn't have the same objections to a late kick off as if it were United or Liverpool.
