Hoping we get Bodo but if it is RM then we can compare NO'R with Bellend. In my opinion our man is better.
Rather Bodo, as playing Real Rags is getting boring.
Plus chance to show Bodo that they got us at a low point and put in a decent performance.
Plus, Pep would've learned about their speed and counter attacking style and will make plans for it.
Won't he????? ;-)
We should know that a few hours after the draw. I expect the dates for the round of 16 games will be confirmed sometime on Friday afternoon.I’m more interested in the draw so the West Ham game kick off can be decided
Fucking great loads of half and half Madrid scarves probably £65 a ticket as well, thank god I’m fucking off the CL scheme next year.Bodo would obviously be the better draw, but this Madrid side isn't one we should fear either. Far from their best, and we've already beaten them this season. Am bored shitless of playing them though, but it feels inevitable that's who we'll get.
fair enough, but I don't then understand why we don't a choice of all 8 unless it's like the NBA playoffs where the top seeded team plays the 16th Team, etc etc.
Let's be honest, UEFA fought off the superleague, by introducing superleague light !
Oh, I'm confident we can beat them over two legs, no doubt. I just hate playing in that fucking stadium with all the crying and playacting and diving and booing and the 90,000 people who seem to think Madrid have a divine right to win every football match they play. As others have said, if we had to play Madrid in the league or if we had to play Madrid every month or so, I'd just watch a different sport.I'm pretty confident we can beat Real.
Bodo gave us the worst battering in a couple of years, they could genuinely have scored 6.
That's the kind of spirit I can get behindAnything but another trip to the fucking Bernabau. Bored of it.
Bodo please, for the revenge and to selfishly end their fairytale if we won!
Correct. We are guaranteed home second leg aren’t we? On that basis I’m confident whichever of the two teams we get tomorrow.
Not surprising. If you’re in the CL as consistent as we are, and consistently reach the latter stages (including winning it), you have to face the best, which they have been throughout.Just looking at our head to head record against Real Madrid and we've played them 15 times (since 2012!), more than any other English club.
Overall record:
Home - 7
Away - 8
Won - 5
Drawn - 4
Lost 6
Other English clubs record against Madrid:
Arsenal - 4
Liverpool - 13
Chelsea - 9
United - 11
