Denton and Gorton by-election - Green Party wins

Nope, might just tell them some home truths, which they may interpret as abuse. They've been given fair warning as well.
He sounds exactly like the sort of **** i'm glad i don't live next door too. Anyway, it's probably bullshit anyway.

Are you miffed about what he's posting or the political party he's mentioned?
I'm miffed because (if this is real) then he comes across as a dick. Reform knocked on my door and they were politely told they weren't welcome, and I detest the bastards.I wouldn't want to live next door to someone who is threatening people if they knock on his door. And so fucking what if he's ex-armed forces, is he implying this means he's more violent? Anyway, it's probably bullshit.

Because he doesn’t want Labour knocking on his door?
No, because he has advertised that he is ex forces. Would he have written 'retired metal fabricator lives here' and the same message? No of course he wouldnt. He is trying to be intimidatory. Other options available to him were to put up a sign saying no canvassers, or if he wanted to be more specific, no canvassers from the Labour Party. Or simply dont answer the door. Instead, he has been a bellend, as acknowledged by other observers who thought the exact same thing

Hopefully the fasicts get a good fisting today.
I-i'm f-fascist...

uhmm.webp

(it's a joke, before anyone starts.)

Could be bullshit, but I can't see where violence is mentioned in that poster.

anybody could have hung this on any door anywhere and claim its from Gorton and Denton but I know if I saw it rather than revel in its message I'd speak to the authorities because I fear the writer needs some sort of help

Can one of our residemt memebers of the armed forces confirm the badge is a real one

Don't answer the door, it's their house, crikey!

What the hell are you on about mate.
Whether you agree with the law or not, it could be considered an offence under the Public Order Act 1986 Section 4A 1(b).

If the sign is displayed inside the property (for only people inside to see) then that can be considered a legal defence.
Displaying for people outside the property to see (like in this case if it is displayed in a window) then that defence doesn't apply.

Nah he's put ex forces as Walter Mittys love trying to beg respect off the public, like being in the forces makes them a better person.

He's doing nothing wrong. I'll tell you what I think. Swap Labour for Tory or Reform on that poster and I bet it's no longer a big deal. Correct?
No, it is nothing to do with which party it is directed at. He would be the same grade of bellend no matter which party he references
