I don't know what's better watching the meltdown on the news channels or several posters on here spewing shit and raging with hate at this great result.
On bluemoon the term is bandied about regular.Anybody to the right of Floella Benjamin is a fascist these days.
Believing they aren’t crazy shows are radical the left has become. Labour and the Tories have publicly dismissed for my entire life, that they are allowing mass immigration and using taxpayers money to fund housing for illegal migrants. The Greens have come out and said that’s what they actively want to do. It’s a huge deviation to what’s come before.Brilliant news, best start to the morning in ages.
Anything that reduces how normal hatred has become is brilliant. Not sure how Reform are getting so many votes when they're so clearly ran in the same manner as Trump's Republicans. You want armed forces locking your neighbours up for nothing and then further down the line the abolition of the NHS?
People acting like the Greens are saying anything crazy shows just how far to the right politics has become. They've got standard left-wing policies, similar in many ways to the Scandinavian countries who are generally seen to have the best quality of life in the World. But being like them is crazy? Bring it on.

And the Tories lost their deposit, which is hilarious.Green 14.980
Reform 10,578
Labour 9,364
the rest also rans
Mate, we know the Greens won’t win nationally, we’re just trying to show you lot why you’ve lost the plot.I don't know what's better watching the meltdown on the news channels or several posters on here spewing shit and raging with hate at this great result.
It's certainly a repudiation of Starmerism, and show the fallacy of trying to win over Reform voters. Pandering to the right has only served to alienate large sections of Labour's core support, and blocking Burnham's candidacy was a mistake. He's a dead man walking.
I think he meant the specific breakdown by area. It's quite a diverse constituency.Green 14.980

I will be honest it would likely increase, especially if the quality of life improves in line of their policies. How much is acceptable? Depends who you ask, most Reform voters want mass deportations….I don’t keep up to date with what Rupert Lowe is saying to be honest mate.
Most countries do have a minimum requirement, nearly every EU country has some sort of requirement to meet for spouses. If it’s not a minimum salary it’s a certain amount of proved income or net bank balance required.
Rather than us nitpicking on these points anyway, do you think the Green’s immigration policy will increase it or decrease and to what level of numbers do you think is acceptable?
The fact Reform didn't win is the biggest positive.Ive seen stuff that makes me think people think they look cool and edgy by stating their support for them
ONLY positive out of this is the bloody nose its given Labour.
I think they'll let him take the fall for the (presumably disastrous) local elections, and then force him out to give a new leader a fresh start. Its going to take the party to push him. I dont think he has the self awareness to walk
It was always going to be difficult seat for Reform. Gorton is an area built on immigration so they would always struggle, so on one level a good result. It should be and it should be reported officially and publicly, with evidence of what was witnessed.
Labour’s share of the vote had already dropped in this seat in 2024 from its 2019 showing, but while Reform have swallowed the Conservative vote, they’ve not made significant inroads into the other vote shares. As I say, there is a lot of food for thought for all parties.
Maybe that one is a little, but (playing devil's advocate in this one as I haven't seen the detail on that policy) how much would organised crime make from it in the future if it were legal?I’d make a strong case that wanting to legalise heroin is ‘crazy’.
If we get rid of all illegal immigrants and save the money spent in housing, under Reform, do you think the rest of the people in the country will benefit from that?Believing they aren’t crazy shows are radical the left has become. For those better informed than me of politics on here. What are the chances of this causing a revolt within Labour and triggering a snap general election?

If Labour getting a bloody nose means they move tack on some stuff and actually become more confident and are more ambitious about what they want then that's a good thing too, as well as sorting out their comms when they introduce policies that are actually beneficial for the working public.
Interesting that the Green Party has the same number of actually elected MPs as Reform if you deduct the sulking ex Tories who have defected to the party. Will there be wall to wall coverage of their press conferences and documentaries put out on Sky and the BBC.
