There are no standout teams so far this season in the Champions League.

I am more concerned about the side of the draw than the Madrid game itself. It gives us a horror route to the final with hardly a chance to breathe. What impact does that have on the PL campaign? If two or more clubs from the same city, within a radius of 50km of each other and/or playing in the same stadium, take part in any of the UEFA club competitions, and if the association and the clubs concerned explicitly declare when entering the clubs that their matches cannot be played on the same day or on consecutive days, the UEFA administration may alter or confirm dates and kick-off times in accordance with the principles set by the Club Competitions Committee.

Arsenal drew to Wolves and Brentford last week. There's no easy draws if you're in that form and they can't afford to rest and rotate players in the PL because they're never far away from one of those games.

We will see. I don’t rate PSG this season. I think Chelsea is a toss up. I think Liverpool would beat them.

PSG only 2 points ahead of Lens right now but I don’t see that as a huge factor either way.

So predictable. Fucking joke, really. One side of the draw absolutely stacked with good teams and the other far weaker. Arsenal gifted a semi spot. But whatever, it's always the same in the CL. If you want to be the best you need to beat the best. We're hitting form at the right time, Real have looked poor all season, PSG aren't quite what they were, and I think Pep can outthink Vinny as well. All winnable games, but no point thinking too far ahead, let's just enjoy the ride.

They're about as tough as each other.

PSG, Liverpool, City, and Bayern on one side.
Barcelona, Atleti, Sporting/Bodo, and Arsenal on the other side.

Arsenal might get a slightly more comfortable QF draw but they'll still go strong and the games are still awkward. The SF will hit them hard like it hits everyone hard.
