Yes it could but it still doesn’t change my mind this time.
Could easily have been playing us in the QF's but looks like Sporting now.Arsenal have a big reward for finishing top.
Pfff.. my arctic brethren from Bodø will take care of them.Wow it might actually be Arsenal’s year. That is a joke of a route to the final for them.
Arsenal pretty much can rotate and relax their players for the PL on these CL games while we need to give our best pretty much. same if we qualify for next round.
I am more concerned about the side of the draw than the Madrid game itself. It gives us a horror route to the final with hardly a chance to breathe. What impact does that have on the PL campaign? In comparison, Arsenal could find some of the their 2nd leg ties a foregone conclusion. A terrible, terrible draw for us.
We will see. I don’t rate PSG this season. I think Chelsea is a toss up. I think Liverpool would beat them.Their (English) opponents will have much more difficult games before and after the respective legs, PSG can completely concentrate on the CL and rotate as much as they want.
They're about as tough as each other.I am more concerned about the side of the draw than the Madrid game itself. It gives us a horror route to the final with hardly a chance to breathe. Just found the regulation;
If two or more clubs from the same city, within a radius of 50km of each other and/or playing in the same stadium, take part in any of the UEFA club competitions, and if the association and the clubs concerned explicitly declare when entering the clubs that their matches cannot be played on the same day or on consecutive days, the UEFA administration may alter or confirm dates and kick-off times in accordance with the principles set by the Club Competitions Committee.
