It’s more the games we’ll need to play than them. The last 6 winning teams are all on our side of the draw. Only Barca have ever won it from the other side and the last time they did was over 10 years ago.

We won’t have any opportunities to rotate.

I don't think Pep wants to rotate much at this point of the season. Rest players by taking our chances, killing games off and playing the last 30 mins at 50% intensity.

He's always preferred to build momentum with a group of 15ish players in the run in.

PSG only 2 points clear at the top of their league. PL massively stronger.

I go by the stats rather than history. Liverpool above PSG in every ranking right now but yes PSG could come good.

PSG can win their league without problems. Them not putting much effort in league games means little.

Some right bed wetters on here.

If Arsenal decide to rest players in the PL games before their CL games well the they won’t be winning the league. Arsenal will, like us, have to play their strongest teams in their run in. That’s how it works.

Also, this bye to the final nonsense. They drew to wolves the other week in a game pretty much everyone said they would win big (apart from me who said they’d draw).

Difference is they play Leverkusen and Bodø/ Sporting over two games

They may lose or draw one of the games, but they won't lose the ties.

Arsenal very rarely get beat as well, it's draws that are costing them. Which in the CL is not the end of the world.

I would argue they can rest players against Leverkusen and Sporting/Bodø.

Arsenal also play at home second in every game leading up to the final.

Pretty sure when we drew with RM 3-3 a couple of years ago, Atletico were at home to Dortmund the night after

PSG are knackered. You could see it vs Monaco their players just don't have the energy to play the high intensity pressing game Luis Enrique wants to do after a 60 game season last year followed by the CWC followed by a long season this year.

They'll give up a ton of chances to Chelsea, and I don't see them beating Liverpool over 2 legs.

You don't say?

It could equally be argued that playing easy teams week in week out does not prepare you very well for the CL. All 9 PL teams still in Europe.

Arsenal won't rotate much either imo. Arteta's not really a manager who likes rotation. It's a big sticking point among Gunners fans. White, Lewis-Skelly, Norgaard, Martinelli, Jesus, even Odegaard - players who you'd usually bank on to help ease the strain, he either doesn't play them anywhere near as much as you'd want him to or doesn't play them at all. As the games get bigger he'll stick even more rigidly imo. Merino is likely out for the season on top of this.

This run will stretch both our squads to the limit. It's what it's all about.
