Real will be more bothered about facing us , they are not the side from a few seasons ago , we have already stuffed them this season at the Bernabeu , and they will try and attack because their arrogant fan base will expect nothing less and we will pick them off in the transition.
Expect us to knock them out , its about time we shoved it up Real and Tebas.

Not saying the draws over the last few years are fixed but UEFA obviously love the 2 biggest clubs in the world being pitted against each other.
Viewing figures for this fixture must blow this competition's value into orbit and rarely does it disappoint as the biggest game in any Champion league season.

Exactly. Loads of people complaining about Arsenal’s supposedly ‘easier’ draw but that’s how the competition works - the number 1 seed should theoretically have a more straightforward route to the final than any other team.
I agree but ....Arsenal had the easiest games out of the English teams in the League stage so topping the league could have been predicted .

Not to say we have been pretty inconsistent this year so deserve what we get . I fancy our chances against Madrid . Bring it on .

Not so sure. The draw isn’t fixed I agree but I’d guess from a monetary point of view they would want all the best teams to go as far as possible rather than knock each other out.

Looks like Real Madrid v City and Atletico v Spurs are scheduled for same week , could the fixtures be reversed and we lose Home advantage ? Tottenham finished above us in league table ?

UEFA are so desperate to fix the league they openly explain how seeding works and outline in detail which clubs can play each other. The cocky bastards.

Is there a risk that the two Madrid teams won't be allowed to play on successive nights? If so I think that would mean our game would reverse as Real finished higher in the league. Would be typical UEFA fixing
Real finished higher? They had to go through play off v Benfica.
Ah, you mean higher than A Madrid. That shouldn’t penalise us though, that would be so wrong, we are seeded.

Spurs clash with Arsenal though who finished higher than them. And Chelsea who were lower. Then Madrid finished higher than Atletico.

How do you fairly unravel that?

They'll just do their best to facilitate different nights. Can't be taking the seeded advantage away.

UEFA must get stiffies over headlines of Haaland vs Mbappe etc.
I don't think they care when we meet... just as long as we do
