Yea maybe but its harder for 2 teams to reach that far so maybe not always possible.

Just think back though, we once could only dream of playing a club like that. The fact it’s now the glamour tie of the season is testament to how we’ve grown. You play them and you get millions watching worldwide. If not billions.

If Arsenal win the quadruple or even a treble I’m probably done with serious interest in football. Already prefer rugby and cricket anyway.

This is a club that’s not won a league in over 20 years and have never won a champions league, they haven’t won a single trophy in 7 years.

They’ve got a favourable draw, but they have to be perfect across all comps and they’re far from that.

We know these teams and wile it won't be easy it will be decent games. It's also good to avoid English sides until the final. Hopefully they all fall away. Arsenal in the final is the worst outcome.

Interesting. Were Pep's Bayern that good? They always get diss'd for not winning the Chumps League.
I also have a lot of respect for the AC Milan team with the three Dutch stars - they were so strong in all areas.
Also do you consider that 2023 team to be Pep's best City team? I think it was the Centurions team but maybe they were just more exciting.

Yes more exciting but not better. This link gives you an idea, though I would put City third (consensus). Bayern 2020 were good too. Most rankings have the same top 5 but in different orders, after that they vary.

I saw Pep’s Bayern live v City when we beat them 3-2 with an Aguero hatrick. We were lucky to win and even with 10 men they were astonishing. Robben was terrifying.

14 games in 5 years doesnt seem legit to me.

This year and last we knew we were getting a 50% chance of Madrid because of where the 2 teams finished in the league.
The year before that we won it, avoiding them until the final stages of the competition.
