Leeds put us under huge pressure in that game and while it wasn’t pretty, it was at least effective.
We really need bodies back out wide and an ability to hold the ball up top. Semenyo and Haaland are big lads but neither enjoys great success holding it up with their back to goal.

Doku will make a big difference, either wide or in the 4 2 2 2.

Dias was not the best - gave the ball away in a couple of really dangerous places. Guehi is a different class - top top defender. Agree with you on Rodri and Cherki and the others

He did give it away but in the last ten mins when it all came on top he was in the trenches clearing everything and leading by example.

Leeds 0-1 Man City

Drama at full time as Leeds boss Daniel Farke is SENT OFF.

He was onto the pitch straightaway to complain to the officials about some of the decisions made.

He really does seem to have an issue losing to us doesnt he

Brilliant win, showed real defensive mettle there. Dias, Nunes and Guehi were in front of everything. Can't really remember Donarumma needing to make a save in that second half for all Leeds' huffing and puffing.

Rodri was imperious.

Cherki is a difference-maker.

10 games to go and 8 points ahead of Villa - you think that might have just locked us in for 2nd at worst. For a team this young in a season where we might have expected to be in a "rebuild" phase, that's some achievement.
