US & Israel attack Iran

So all the clapping for the dead Iranian president. If Trump or Netanyahu were assassinated in similar fashion would we all be so pleased?
YEP!

And he wasn't a 'president', he was a despotic, dictatorial, homophobic, antisemitic ****.

How many on here were wishing that assassination attempt last year had actually killed Trump instead of just grazing him?

No, to be free from a regime which prevented them from living their lives the way they wanted.
Free from bigotry, misogyny, oppression, subjugation, threat of death and imprisonment.

You do the Iranian people a MAJOR disservice. Many do not want the regime, but are silenced through violence.
Extreme violence lately.

I do wonder, as they’ve confirmed that the Exec Branch is watching this all from Mar-a-Lago, why Iran haven't nuked the place?

But they did prior to 1978

People seem to think Iran has always been the vision the Ayatollah wanted. Nope.

Pretty much like the USA then presently

There are Iranians all over the world absolutely desperate for this murderous regime to fall.
Saw them outside a train bridge a few months ago. Wondering what sort of flag it was until I searched for it; the Lion and Sun flag. Group of about 30, just chanting. This is in South Manchester.

The US makes weapons, sells weapons and ergo it has to use them and encourage others to use them. Shareholders want to see a return on their investment. War is good
Killing desenters to the glorious regime is better. Dissenting voices must be silenced! Death to America!

Yeah, much better regime...

That’s true, but it would also be a mistake to think that the entire country was as Westernised. It’s a vast country whose population then was largely rural, poor, and deeply religious.

You could say that about parts of England and America today.
