Very good point about the 4th official.

There's also a fairly good chance that an angered Farke was shouting whatever bollocks he had a bee in his bizarre looking bonnet about as he approached the ref which the ref heard as he approached. His facial expression and gesticulations wouldn't have been missed too.

"Foul and abusive language" is my bet, but walking aggressively is funnier, so let's go with that :)

We often complain about fans in the stadium not being informed about what’s happening when it comes to VAR, so maybe Leeds thought telling supporters why there was a break would be better. With hindsight, maybe it backfired.

The announcement was made and it exposed a cohort of pathetic bigots who shamed themselves.

The guy is bright. You can see it in his interviews.
 
Good performance, and three points is now EVERYTHING.
The first twenty showed our need for an additional, dynamic presence in the centre - it is not the forte of Rodri, Bernardo, Dias, or Guehi, even though each performed well.
Cherki can create for fun, and he was excellent, blending his technical skill with diligent use of the ball, and movement in to space to receive it. He is very difficult to contain for anyone.
Rodri is word-class.
I was surprised that Gonz didn't come on for O'Reilly.
I was pleased to see Savinho return but noticed imbecilic responses to his introduction on the match-day thread, stating that he had done nothing about two minutes after he came on - when will some fans learn?

It was right in front of of the lino who couldn’t have failed to see it and clearly ignored it. Not the refs fault on this particular occasion but underlines how we are officiated differently to everyone else…

Because the vast majority of them can’t read and they were confused by the jumble of letters on the screen.

It was a superb ball, in fact a great City goal at just the right time. The sort of pass we used to see Phil Foden make - sad that he can’t get on the pitch at the moment. Really hope he gets the magic back but overall a cracking performance once we’d weathered the storm.

Leeds have a humongous catchment area. Apart from Bradford , they have the whole of that massive part of Yorkshire to themselves. But there support hasnt always reflected that.
Same with Newcastle.

People can call Citys support all they want but we have 7/8 full time pro clubs on our door step to fight for support with

You can tell how tough an away win it was given the reaction of the Leeds players at the end.
They wanted that win, worked their socks off for it in a tough, hostile environment.
We may not be the finished article yet in terms of a team but the nucleus is there.

Very Merlin-esque. Though someone on here would argue that Kinkladze would have played it better than Spanish Dave.

The reaction of our players and Pep showed it too, just watched it back on telly and it didn’t properly show the emotion showed to the away end by all the players and Pep. Thats 2 successive wins by a one goal margin, very nervy, very strong from a mentality perspective
