Would you rather the US disarmed and left Russia with nuclear weapons?

Would you rather leave Iran to continue to arm Russia in fighting Ukraine?

Would you rather allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons so that it can blackmail the entire Middle East, and us?

I have nothing else to say other than if I had the choice I'd rather the US had nuclear weapons than Iran.

These same people align with Iran because Iran too does not want Israel to exist and so they are quite clearly defending Iran's objective to acquire nuclear weapons to potentially enact that reality. It makes no sense that the likes of the Green Party can oppose nuclear weapons here but is in favour of nuclear weapons for Iran.

Iranian government members literally chanted in their Parliament death to Israel, death to America and death to England and then burnt the American flag mere months ago. Are these the kind of people who are peaceful and should be trusted with nuclear weapons? Probably not!

I don't really like the interventionist approach but would the Middle East be better off without religious zealots armed with nuclear weapons with a clear plan on their use against an ally? I'd say so.

Yes, absolutely. Why then should Israel be given a free pass? Better yet, why should another religiously zealous nation, one that incidentally is the most powerful on the planet militarily, be given a free pass for backing another of the religious zealots?

They didn’t have nuclear weapons. They weren’t even close and they agreed to just about everything in terms of “never, ever” trying to start up their own nuclear program in the talks over the past month according to the Omani Foreign Ministry that was mediating.

Stop believing everything Trump says and especially that horrible **** genocidal dictator Netanyahu who has been saying Iran are “months away” from a nuclear weapon for neigh in 20 years.

In any case, it's an utterly simplistic view because many people don't go to live in Dubai for the purposes of avoiding paying tax

It's very easy to be flippant about "tax dodging ex-pats", but what about the tourists ? How many flights from UK last Thursday/Friday, those tourists are now stuck there through no fault of their own, and this is a popular time of year to be in the UAE for a holiday, because the weather isn't too hot yet. That said Etihad do seem to be operating some flights again, on route to Heathrow Paris and Amsterdam currently.

Maybe you haven't read all that I wrote earlier. First, I wasn't so flippant as to mention "tax dodging immigrants" someone else did so address them with that. I specifically said that those stuck there on holiday or transitting should be helped as soon as the airspace is open again.

The Etihad flights are believed to be moving crew and not carrying passengers. Once the airspace is open then it is no longer a war zone and those who have chosen to make the area their home will have ample opportunity to come back to the UK be it directly or via other countries.

Dubai to Muscat is a 4 hour drive and Doha to Riyadh about 6 hours. I suspect Muscat will become a major exit point if the situation continues but I think the airlines will be upgrading their safety management protocols to allow them to start operating again shortly.

If the airspace remains closed as it is now then no one is going anywhere as no airline be it local or British or any other nationality (Russian excepted) will operate into closed airspace with all of the risks involved of doing so.

That's all well and good but he was talking about people who post on here, not Iranian government members
