US & Israel attack Iran

I last had been in Iran more than 40 years ago. That was during Kodak era.

Certainly don’t let those warmongers turn Iran into the new Iraq.

A tourister view

A tourister view from two sides of countries that have economic sanctions. It seems that with sanctions come economic crises, with economic crises come people becoming poorer, with poor people come protests.

Makes one wonder if this is the Sicarri method of cutting supply from outside the country to cause hardship and strife.

Would you rather the US disarmed and left Russia with nuclear weapons?

Would you rather leave Iran to continue to arm Russia in fighting Ukraine?

Would you rather allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons so that it can blackmail the entire Middle East, and us?

I have nothing else to say other than if I had the choice I'd rather the US had nuclear weapons than Iran.

You do know Israel has Nuclear weopens. The craziest genocidal state our there.

You’ve completely lost it. Have a lie down.
He lost it a couple of years ago. It’s a damn shame what’s happened to this (now) single issue poster. The fact he cries anti-semitism every time Israel’s murdering government is criticised is beyond moronic. He’s the only fucker hell bent on making everything about Jews.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing isn't it. We know for certain that the terrorists in Iran have been developing nuclear weapons for years. I'll ask you do we sit on our hands and let them finally get the them.
Why not? They'd have deterred war surely. Isn't that how we justify having them?

Maybe you haven't read all that I wrote earlier. First, I wasn't so flippant as to mention "tax dodging immigrants" someone else did so address them with that.
I read it, and that comment was just a general comment to those who have, not to you specifically.

I don't think the airspace is going to be open any time soon sadly, so the tourists are going to have to travel to get home. Also I have no problem with people being asked to pay, whether tourist or ex-pat, they will be able to afford it, but it is our governments job to help them regardless.

Not your opinion but you then went ahead and posted it?

In any case, it's an utterly simplistic view because many people don't go to live in Dubai for the purposes of avoiding paying tax
I put it up for debate, do people that decide to move abroad have to be brought back to Britain by the government? It’s not a tax thing it’s a lifestyle choice

Would you rather have the dead tens of thousands that we are seeing now?

Do you like the misery that the millions of innocent Iranians are going to go through.....

Questions that are as pointless as yours. I am glad you have nothing else to say.
This isn't an attack on Iran, many Iranians wanted this to happen! This is an attack on the Iranian government so civilian casualties are small.

What about when the Iranian government killed tens of thousands of its own people last month? Where is your bleeding heart for them?

30%+ of Iranians live in outright poverty because the Iranian government prioritises death over its own people. And again people think they should be allowed to have nuclear weapons? Laughable.

errr - they were 2 years late for WW1 and 3 years late for WW2

Think you’re a tad mixed up 3 years late for WW1 although their entry hasten the end of an already beaten German Empire, just over 2 years late for WW2 which put paid to the most evil regimes the world has know in recent history which certainly weren’t beaten when they finally turned up :-)

Sounds more like a Scouser every day "Always the victim, its never ..... "

I've no problem with pacifism and isolationism. I actually think it's the only 'moral' stance that's anywhere near consistent BUT it has to be applied to ALL sides not just Israel and the USA.
Remind us again, who started this war?

Yeah, and to get a Visa, they need an invite and a sponsor, but you knew that already as you’re obviously a fucking expert…, oh you didn’t know?
I did know but thanks for confirming what I already knew.

But of course at times of crisis like this often those requirements are removed as long as the people involved are using approved means of transport and are often escorted. The last time the airspace was closed, many Dubai bound aircraft diverted to Riyadh and the passengers were subsequently "coached" to the UAE. Not a "fucking expert" but 38 years in the aviation industry and some experience of "crisis management" helps.

I suspect that the airlines will be anxious to start to operate shortly as they too have crews stranded worldwide. Another day of limited operations I reckon unless iran makes a signifcant move.

HTH.

Ah yes, I wonder how the families of those 153 school children killed in a strike on the weekend are feeling.... They definitely wanted this to happen.

The NATO chief Rutte says on BBC news the “UK is active in a defensive role protecting countries in Europe against Iran lashing out and hitting hotels and suchlike. Today our base in Akrotiri was evacuated.” We have allowed our bases to be used by the Americans”

“556 people have died in Iran one of them was the wife of the leading administrator and huge explosions heard in Beirut”
