US & Israel attack Iran

Netanyahu, and the far right, whole political raison d'être is security. When the boggie monster ceases to exist so does their grip on power.

If you can’t join the dots and see how that has the possibility to change the narrative then I really don’t know what else to say to you.

The leader of the opposition in israel said last week that he doesn't think he has "a dispute on the biblical level [about] what the original borders of Israel are".

"I support anything that will allow the Jews [to have] a big, vast, strong land, and a safe shelter for us, for our children, and for our children’s children. That’s what I support." Link

In other words he's interested in Greater Israel - invading multiple more countries, mass murdering and ethnically cleansing millions more people. Egypt and Iraq are two of the countries who would be included.

They are prepared to take that risk, because the alternative is that they could always stay at home like good little obediant Regime loving sycophants, obeying the regime's interpretation of Islamic law, not dressing immodestly, not consuming alcohol, not dancing or showing joy, not being anything other than Muslim or following any other faith, lest they are imprisoned, tortured and murdered, usually in that order, like they have been doing to them regardless, for 50 years.

They been killing people for decades. Now that the orchestrator of their pain and misery is gone you're going to be the one to tell them 'no, dont do that, they might kill you!' when they have this chance of reclaiming their own livelihoods?

I’m not telling them to do anything, my point is there is no good outcome yet and hoping the Iranian people themselves can bring about regime change like Trump is saying is no more likely now than it was a week ago.

The orchestrator of their pain is still very much there and still has all the weapons.

Leaderless, directionless, squabbling for power and vastly outnumbered.

In this context it is used as lying to the Infidel to protect their version of the Umma -which is their regime basically. These people have submitted wholeheartedly to Islam and there is nothing else for them.

Seems a stretch. I can't profess to be an expert on Iranian and Shiite psychology but the idea that "everything they say is a lie due to their religion" smells a bit funky to me. Can apply that to anything to make them whatever you want them to be.

Today at the Congressional medal of Honour Ceremony he arrived 40 minutes late.. that's how much he respects those who have served

he was wearing not a red tie but one in the colour of a Purple Heart medal ribbon and desperately wants to award himself one

Greater Israel can't ever exist and its more an anti-semetic conspiracy theory (with all due respect). The entire region and world would turn on them if Israel tried to implement it, and frankly, many of our Government say badly worded or out of context statements all the time but they're not considered official policy.

Israel wants to protect itself. Yes, they do horrendous shit to achieve that goal, but they're not an imperialist force that is trying to conquer countries. They're cunts, but not that type of cunts. The state of Israel is bad under Bibi because their doctrine has become "survive at all cost", not "expand at all costs". There's a moral difference there. I'm no fan of the Israeli government but I can recognise the difference between desperation and imperialism

Not what I said at all -and your quote "everything they say is a lie due to their religion" is nothing to do with me

It's implicit. If you can claim something they publicly say is a lie because of a religious doctrine, then you can claim everything they say is a lie due to their religious doctrine. If you can claim knowledge of their real goals that they're hiding due to that religious doctrine, you can claim any goal they really have. Again, just logically follows. Maybe I've made a mistake, tell me where my logic is incorrect.

Starmer skirted around what should have been said - Tory austerity has left us militarily a Championship club threatened with a drop to league 1 - the cupboard is bare
