He doesn't have children does he, or a wife, not even mates.
Because if he did he would be told in no uncertain terms what a massive bell end he looks and to stop it immediately as he's a total embarrassment to them.
That is the behaviour of a typical rag fan. So it won't be considered embarrassing in any way.

I'd have made him go over to the screen at the side of the pitch and watch that back then look at him and gone "Hmmm?" then "Have a yellow card you cheating twat!"
This is the sort of thing that the monitor should be used for. Embarrassing blatant cheaters.

There have been 34 red cards given in the Premier League this season.

The teams to have benefited from these red cards are:

Liverpool - 5
United - 4
Chelsea - 3
Newcastle - 2
Villa - 2
Bournemouth - 2
Arsenal - 2
Fulham - 2
Man City - 2
Wolves - 2
Palace - 2
Spurs - 1
Brighton - 1
Forest - 1
Brentford - 1
Sunderland - 1
Burnley - 1

Everton, West Ham, and Leeds have finished all of their games against 11 men this season.
They'll just say it shows teams are dirtier against them due their name and history. They'll say this proves that regardless of trophies recently, the Dippers and Rags are still the teams to beat so opposition try harder and make more fouls....

Word has it that he’s bought some curtains to keep light out too.

Word has it he also bought one of the expensive footballs from Sports Direct and not two for £7. He also owns a pair of football boots with studs and if his perfectionist plan continues he is only weeks away from cutting holes in the calves of his socks

A bit unfair that, seems a genuine mistake in anger from a young lad, clearly wasn't aimed as a slur, or to be homophobic in any way. Right to be banned as a lesson learnt but no more than that.

Honestly i think this has the opposite effect to the one they want. If they just let the facts come out people would say he was a stupid kid who said something ban-worthy and that’s that.

When the press so obviously try to play it down and excuse it below a certain level it makes you less sympathetic to him.

Young players make mistakes, and he seems contrite and has accepted his punishment. Just irks me the way those journalists are portraying it. "Repeatedly abused", "finally snapped" etc.

The obligatory " my actions don't reflect my beliefs" line rolled out as usual. If that was true, why say it? If he's snapped in the heat of the moment, what made his brain go for "Gay boy"? In that scenario. I'd argue youre more likely to reveal your true beliefs.
I think it was because the other lad kept mentioning his dad and brother, hence that response. The lad was wanting a reaction and got one. Not ideal words in today's world, but clearly not ment as a homophobic slur.

What is the point in that? 6 years to hand out a suspended sentence to somebody that is likely never going to step foot in Greece again. Seems like a colossal waste of time and money to me. We get to call yet another Manchester united player a convicted criminal at least.
